RPG Maker VX Ace now 50% off until 3rd January

Anyone interested in making 2D RPG? Are you trying to find something productive for your kids to do instead of playing games all day and all night? Well look no further, try RPG Maker VX Ace. This tool is simple but powerful. You don't have to know any programming language to make A 2D RPG in it. Even a 6 years-old child can make an RPG in it(provided that he knows how to read of course lol). Of course, you make customisation if you know how to program as it provides scripting function. This tool is perfect for those who mau berjinak2 in game design particularly in making RPG.

I bought RPG Maker VX Ace on Steam several days ago during its 75%-off sale, woohoo, and I love it. Now VX Ace is on 50%-off sales on Steam. So it's around 100 plus la in our Malaysian currency. Mine was RM61.80 during the 75% off sale. If you don't have card credit or paypal don't worry, the Steam payment option now includes MOL point, so you go ahead make account here https://www.mol.com/My/Default.aspx and then reload your MOL point (one way to reload your MOL point is by going to 7eleven shop), and then when you purchase VX Ace on Steam, just choose MOL point as your payment option and then it will direct to your MOL point account window and it will simply deduct your MOL point amount to the price of your purchase, it's that simple. smile.gif

I'm still new to this software but I can already tell that RPG Maker VX Ace is powerful. Sure it's very simple that you can jump right into designing Dragon Quest-style JRPG but its powerful scripting system allows nearly infinite customisation you know. I've seen people, instead of using the default front view turn-based battle system, made action battle system, sideview battle system, mugen-style fighting system and even made harvest moon-style game and platformer game.

This tool is full of wins you should give it a try.

(But of course, Unity3D is better and shit)

(but anyone is yet to make 2D tile-based RPG system in Unity3D, so yeah, RPG Maker VX Ace is the best 2d tile-based RPG creation tool)

(Whatever man.)

(Really)

Any Malaysian Into Game Design and/or Dev Here?

Hi, I recently have decided to get into game design and development starting from indie level. I dropped out of my college to pursue this interest. I'm devoting at least total one year for nothing but just game design and development. I have zero programming language and have almost no artistic knowledge and have no musical ability, but I'm willing to learn, improve, discipline myself and brave the odds. Is there any Malaysian here who's pursuing the same interest(be it professional, study or hobby)? Newbies or veterans, I hope we can have a get together (like a forum or thread or Facebook group or Google+ community or something...). Do you guys know any Malaysian game design community (forum, Facebook or Google+ etc) on the web? Dont mention this, it's inactive or dead.

Come on! Let's be into this game design and development stuffs together.
