I am currently studying law. However recently, I received an offer from SMU Singapore to study Bachelors in Business Management.

May I have your opinions on which one to go to?

Taylor's or BAC for UKT?

Excuse me, but I've just completed my A-levels (half a year for A2 is beyond overkill), and I'm looking around for a law university.

I've narrowed down the choices to two: BAC and Taylor's.
For all I have researched, with twinning programs in UKT, I'll be able to achieve my goal of getting into the BPTC.

However, choosing between the two is a problem. Note that my parents told me to disregard the price, since the UKT programs for the two only has a 5k per year difference between the two.

Taylor's has the university environment my parents want me to be in (I'm spent all my education years in a room as much as possible), and has the better lecturer-student ratio.

BAC doesn't have these, looking at the sheer number of students and the fact that the environment is basically 'loud streets'. Also the fact that they are less reluctant to drop students. Also having to sit with 200 others in a room is... a turn off. However, the fact that it's the (said to be) best law school in Malaysia is a factor I always come back to.

Thank you for your opinion.

So I set off for HELP tomorrow...

My parents and I went to JB's Edufair today. Neatstuff, really.

All of us were very impressed with HELP, so we decided to head up to KL tomorrow to check out the place and (most probably) register for it's Cambridge A-Levels.

I chose this over Taylor's due to several reasons like it's relative cheapness and HELP's reputation in Law. (Yes I'm aiming for a LLB)

So, any opinions about this?

Question regarding A-Levels

Hello, newfag here.

I have some questions regarding A-levels and to some extent, my future. My parents have been bringing me round and round and round all these open days and private colleges which have only served to worsen my confusion.

Doubt is driving me to absolute depression. Also, rape face hallucinations.

Anyways back into topic, before I ask my questions, here's the details of my career and future plans.

A-Levels -> Bachelor of Laws -> Academia/Legal advisor (Yes, I don't want to be a lawyer, so I'll ignore the BAR and CLP)

And here are my questions:

1. Does taking Law in A-level really give me an advantage during my pursue for my degree? As a Taylor's manager advised me, taking subjects that are hard to score A such as Law may be detrimental if I don't score an A. She advises me to choose easier subjects such as Accounting so that I can easily gain 3/4As in my A-Levels, thus securing my spot in famous UK Law Universities.

2. Is Taylor really a good choice for my future plans? I see much cheaper alternatives but Taylor offers a lot of things ie. decent campus, university placements and they have reputation (I'll assume reputation and alumni will be quite useful when I'm in the legal sector). But maybe taking A-levels in somewhere like HELP or Sunway will be sufficient?

Thanks for your time.
