Booked a car (Mazda) from myTukar Puchong and went to check it out.<br />The car physical condition is okay. But after a test drive (including testing the gear changes) and parked the car left idle, I&#39;ve noticed the Check Engine Light was on. A red flag to me. <br />The SA told me that he&#39;ll get their technician to sort it out. At the time I was okay with that as I assume with their establishment like Carsome, I won&#39;t be scammed. But also a red flag was the SA mentioned they will only sort it out after I made the full payment (I&#39;m buying cash), I only have 10 days from booking to pay full b4 booking expired. <!--emo&:hmm:--><img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='hmm.gif' /><!--endemo--><br /><br />Regardless, I&#39;m skeptical and did some research on their buyer-customer aftersales reviews on Facebook. I&#39;ve noticed that there are no review mention of successful aftersales warranty claims (maybe cuz they&#39;re new establishment or customer not leaving reviews after good claim) and almost all are reviews of successful car purchase. <br />However, there are a bad reviews of unsuccessful warranty claims whereby their technicians are merely clearing the ECU fault codes and did no actual repairs (red flag), not solving the issue. Despite their 1 year warranty offered.<br /><br />I&#39;m attempting to do another checking with my mechanic and OBD scan tool next time (maybe non-critical fault code).
