I tried googling to find such projects but to no avail, mainly because all the results are UK-based gap year agency and they charge an exorbitant price(or at least, to my standards it is). For example, a 4-week volunteering programme at a local house disabled orphans in Sabah costs about 1000 pounds (~RM5500). The price excludes air ticket.<br /><br />Therefore, I hope someone can enlighten me on where I can look into for such an opportunity. Raleigh is the only organisation I acknowledge, but it would be great to know other organisations/projects too, just in case something goes wrong.<br /><br />So please kindly reply to this thread if you have any suggestions.
