RULES
1. You must be a professional or amateur photographer.
2. You must be 21 years of age or older.
3. You must either live in a country that doesn’t require a visa into Germany or you must be able to secure a visa in advance of travel. We can provide the invitation letter if needed to secure the visa. Must have a valid passport good through October 1, 2008.

5. Think Tank Photo will purchase the winner’s coach round-trip ticket to Cologne, Germany. The winner’s ticket will have them arrive in Cologne on September 23, 2008 and return from Cologne to the same embarcation city on September 27, 2008. Think Tank Photo will pay for 5 nights of hotel room (the evenings of 9/23 to 9/26, with check out on 9/27) and room taxes only. The winner will receive $500 in spending money. All other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Think Tank Photo is not responsible for any expenses (e.g. changes to airplane ticket, extra days at event, etc.) beyond these already stated.
6. Think Tank Photo will purchase exhibition passes to photokina for the winner.
7. You must be able to travel from September 23 to September 27, 2008. If your name is drawn as the winner but you are unable to attend, you are ineligible for the contest and will receive no compensation.
8. If the person drawn as the winner is unable to attend photokina, subsequent random drawings will ensue until the person whose name is drawn is able to attend.

Mens Facial Wash?

Yo ppl... Just recently saw lots of ads for mens facial wash products like

Biotherm Home and Loreal for Mens .

Anybody started using on it?

Lately my face getting darker and easily get like small amount of pimples. But its the effect after the pimple dry off the dark spot start to appear. Any tips to handle it?

Hi Guys and Gals,

So here what happen.

During i paktoh with my gf,i got make lots of frens in workplace. I do treat some girls with caring like a close frens only.

But recently it seems after i got breakup problems. These girls seems start to avoiding me. We still got talk and once a while go makan but you get that funny feeling from their body language they like not comfortable with mebcos i'm currently single and maybe treating them nice. And they got the feeling i want to chase them.

So any advice?

It's called the Alky project; and the goal: trying to port DirectX 10 back to Windows XP. And although a great idea I say there are three variables that you need to get DX10 games running in Windows XP. First off, the actual game, then DX10 ... and here's where I think the project can fail .. your graphics card driver needs to be DX10 compatible. The latter one poses the biggest issue.

Anyway, Alky has released a preview of his DirectX 10 compatibility libraries. These libraries allow the use of DirectX 10 games on platforms other than Microsoft Vista, and increase hardware compatibility even on Vista, by compiling Geometry Shaders down to native machine code for execution where hardware isn't capable of running it. No longer will you have to upgrade your OS and video card(s) to play the latest games! The current preview allows you to run a number of examples from the DirectX SDK on Windows XP. They're not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but we want to whet your appetite. He hopes to release builds in the coming months progressing from demos to fully functional games. He also plan to post on his blog from time to time with screenshots and videos of what's to come.

Update: the programmer / author of the Alky project just posted a comment. It seems that to divert the issue I mentioned he want's to run the DX10 features not over the graphics card (GPU) .. but over the CPU.

Your graphics card does not need to support Direct3D10. Our libraries handle functionality that is missing from your card. You obviously won't get the same speed as if your card supported it, but depending on the speed of your CPU, most games should be fully playable.

Maxis WBB , Home Voice Update

Hi guys and gals,

I not sure if this was posted yet just got back from KLCC Maxis Center awhile ago. Today i thought i was able to cancel the Home Voice that comes with maxis wbb and just found out that the current Home Voice cant be canceled.

Why you ask ? Bcos on Feb/March they will introduce another package for *data package only* wbb so the maxis will revise the plan and even you bring the phone all the way up there they will turn you down and said for 6 months its still will be waived if want to cancel only feb/mar.

Darn...why the helpdesk didnt tell earlier make me go All the way to there...haih.

Maxis Wireless Broadband Status Connection

Maxis Wireless Broadband Connection Status.

Puchong : Disconnect as of 21-12-06 7:00PM
Cyberjaya : Disconnect as of 21-12-06 8:30PM

Total Downtime is nearly like 1-2 Days... can sometimes connect but connection die after 1 hour or so.

I'm unable to connect to the following area using wbb.The modem showing got RSSI solid light. 192.x.x.x showing UTMS/HSDPA both not connected. Called to Maxis 1800 line and they say no problem at all all area working fine. They call me to use it i must be in a 3g area...and they give me a long list of area. -.-" . I just traveled around KL and what ever area with 3g also cannot lah haizzzzzzz....

(I'm not sure is anybody else is facing the same status above or my modem die liow).Please post your status for me to confirm.
