Hi guys, I live in a condo and there's a side of the wall that's radiating heat from 3pm - 9pm. Seems like the afternoon - evening sun is heating up the wall causing the room to be very hot. Is there any insulation/renovation tips that can be applied to mitigate this? Thanks!

Vein patterns on engineered Quartz top

So I know the quartz stone top that I picked was man made. And I know that it will fade with time but mine was installed just around 8 months ago and I'm starting to see the vein patterns which was originally grey/black, turning in to a pink-purple color tone (it's more vivid in person, the camera couldn't accurately capture the color). According to the salesperson, it's 3D printed patterns or something, sounded like he doesn't know either.

The area is quite well lit with natural light but it's not direct fully exposed sunlight.

Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to mitigate this? Something like UV polish or something? I'm really regretting my decision of not going solid wood....

My Ikea mattress is getting a bit old and some areas have obviously caved in. So I might be looking to get it replaced. There's a lot of new brands that are advertised by a few youtubers out there but I'm really clueless when it comes to mattresses (not sure about you guys but I don't check out mattresses frequently)...

Any recommendations?

Stained and Dulled Quartz Top

Hey guys, recently found some stains that looked like it's caused by unknown beverage/liquid food with cup rings (See image). I tried bar keeper's friend and it somewhat reduced the stains but it dulled the shine of the area. It seems like I can remove the stain but it will dull the area so now I'm in a pretty bad dilemma.

Should I go all in and buy varying sanding paper grits from 2000-3000 and wet sand the area + polish? Any other solutions or products that could "polish" or add shine to the area?

Hey guys, recently finished renovating my new place but on the decor side of things, it's a bit barren. So I'm looking to install a pretty wide wooden mosaic art like the above picture. The wall itself is very wide, around 450cm.

Anyone knows any woodworking shop or contractor that would do custom made panels like this and I paint the panels myself. Or is there any DIY workshop where I can rent the equipment?

Hi,

I hope I don't take too much of your time for some beginner questions about selling off a property.

I read around and the general consensus is that I should be engaging my own lawyer but I wanted some other opinion before I spend 6k.

So I sold my unit through an agent which he introduced me to a lawyer that offers to represent me.

My property value is 465k. According to the agent, the fee of the buyer's lawyer is higher. Is this even possible? I thought if I use buyer's lawyer, I can save the SnP legal fees right?

Lastly, what do you think about the quoted price? RM6,000 (after discount) for a RM465,000 selling price? Do I even need a lawyer to represent me?
