Beginner Videographer

Hello guys, I've been playing DSLR photography for more than 3 years now. Now company requires me to do more than that and to produce videos. Having little knowledge in this field, I was wondering could the pros out there introduce some Video Recorder to me? My DSLR isn't really sufficient for video shooting. And what kind of mic should I use to record audio as I'm shooting? I know about the post production but not really the beginning @@

This might be a silly question for those experts out there...but can I study both? or should I master one of it only and where can I study it?
I saw Multimedia Design and Digital Animation courses in The One Academy, which one should I choose if I wish to study further in one of the Motion Graphics and Visual Effects?

a gap year before entering college?

Hello guys! I'm a recently graduated student and looking forward to study in Multimedia Design. Somehow I decided to take a gap year before entering college, and find some jobs to do during this year.

But some of my Senior friends tell me that if study in Art, I can actually work and study at the same time. So I would like to see if anyone has done this before? Mind a little sharing?

And I've been self-learning Multimedia skills while I'm still in high school, so I might have an easier starting in College, here's my channel
