[Help]My PC Freeze When i Plug in

My PC(using window xp) freeze when i plug in my external HD or pendrive but when i plug in usb mouse it didn't freeze, my PC got 4 USB Port, tested all 4 USB port, But my external HD and pendrive have no problem when plug in my laptop( using window vista)... HELP pls

my External HD is taken from internal HD and put casing then become external HD
my pendrive is normal kingston 1GB
