I am planning for my marry plan now.

I'm going to check the quotation of those chinese restaurants, and if I wanna make booking, do I have to inform them how many table I would like to book while paying deposit?

Due I have not yet work on my guest list, can I book the date with the restaurant 1st and inform them how many table I wanna book later ?

Install the grill for front door and windows

I am a first house buyer, I bought a service apartment and get the key recently.

I have some enquiries, I want to install the grill for front door, window in the living hall, window in the bedroom 1 & 2, small window in toilet 1 & 2, and the grill at the yard.

If I get the contractor to install the grills for my unit, what should I have to inform the Management? (example: contractor visit date and time, and any free parking for the contractor while they visiting my unit?)

Besides that, my unit currently have no electricity yet, should I apply from the TNB first before I get any contractor to do the grill's work for me?

recently have received letter from the bank, and they are charging for interest (rm1.1k), while loan principal is 0.

called the banker and loan agreement lawyer firm, they explained that this is normal for subsale unit, due they need time to check/process the documents, and bank only able to release partial loan amount to seller during this moment, the loan borrower must serve the interest during this period.

is it true? because im 1st time buying property and don't have experience before.

Maxis MEP outlet charge RM 5 for changing sim ?!

Visited the MEP outlet (Ericom Sdn Bhd), the staff told me that the service for changing sim card is offline/not available, and the lady staff said if want to cut the sim card, they will charge RM 5 .

This RM 5 charges is for the staff herself or for Maxis ??

This is totally different on what official Maxis told me, this MEP outlet should be investigate.

outside of my house gate is flood after raining

after the asphalt road construction is done, due the height level is different with my front house gate, therefore whenever the raining is finished, my front gate is flooded with water.

anyone here can guide me on how to cover cement on my front gate there to avoid flooding?
what tool should i prepare to proceed further ?

the valuer just finished valuate my condo unit, and they valuated my condo worth price RM 370,000.

they sent me invoice and charged me the fees below:

Professional fee for preparing the report RM 590
Government service tax 6% RM 35.40
Disbursement RM 324.60

Total RM 950

is the fees they charged is reasonable ?

Legal fee no discount given to 1st timer

My s&p lawyer gave me 50% discount on legal fee (verbally and payment done) and stamp duty.

While my loan agreement lawyer is assigned to other firm (bank panel lawyer), and they don't want to give me 1% discount on the legal fee, they said rm3.1k already very cheap and bla bla bla.

In this situation, if i wanna assign my s&p lawyer as loan agreement lawyer, is it still possible?
(previously i have signed the Letter of Authorisation with the bank panel lawyer)

Hi sifu, I have received 2 letters from my housing loan bank, not sure whether action is required from me as the letter never mentioned that I will have to do something.

Usually the letter is just for my information ?

Can change bank lawyer if the letter signed?
