VR Showcase + Demo via Oculus Rift DK2

I just wanted to know if any of you guys have ever attend any VR showcase or do host some of them for the past few years. Our team had an opportunity to showcase VR to the board members of an agency in order to convince them how VR could or will revolutionize their business one day. I've stumble upon a few apps which I think might be suitable:

1) Oculus Dreamdeck - Due to its Loop and Play All features which we think might be a good way to introduce and showcase what VR is capable of, minus the T-rex.
2) Oculus Video - Playing both normal and 360 video. Selected 360 video were taken from YouTube and movie/event teaser 15-30 seconds.
3) Woofbert VR
4) Sketchfab VR
5) Jaunt VR
6) Introduction to Virtual Reality - Cons, too long, not many people actually finishes the whole videos.
7) Discovery VR
8) Apollo 11 VR
9) Kismet

I was looking for something else that you guys might have stumble upon. A short demo perhaps that could really brings out the VR to those who never had the experience before. The target audience were 50-60 y/o. Any helps would be much appreciated. Thanks!

[WTS] Leonard & Church Luxury Watch

Actually I'm not sure which tag is appropriate for this but, here goes. I stumble upon this interesting project at Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/leonardandchurch/a-new-way-to-buy-a-luxury-watch) where they are making a new line of luxury watches. After putting the shipping price into consideration, I realize that the price could drop to RM230 each plus you could choose any models from their collections, compared to the cheapest pledge which the cheapest you could get is RM290 for the chronograph series. I'm not selling anything here, I just want to find someone who feels like buying this to share up to 6 people so that we could split the shipping fees.

I'm going to pick the $400 (RM1269 as in 22/7/2014) pledge + shipping $50 (RM158.63) to Malaysia. This option enable us to get 6 pieces of watch from any of their collections. So the total price would be RM1427.63 splitted by 6 and each of us will be paying exactly RM237.94. Shipping date should be around November or December 2014.

Item(s): Leonard & Church Watches

Package includes: The watches.

Price: RM237.94 each (RM

Warranty: Quoted from their Kickstarter page:

QUOTE

"Fun fact: one of our manufacturers produces the watch that President Obama wears in office.
Building a Dynamic Lowyat Pricelists Site

Hi,

Currently, I'm looking for an extra hand to help me finish the project that I started. The reason I'm starting this project is because it always take too much time comparing and wasting time going up and down at Lowyat Plaza (sometimes this are the best part when building your new rig). But, for most people who wanted to find a specific item, it might not be good.

**OFFTOPIC**
This happen to me last time when I was going up and down looking for a shop selling CAT6 cable (back in 2009 it is quite hard to find one). Luckily after 1 hours++ I manage to find one. Then when I was trying to look for a particular toner for my outdated laser jet and when I was looking for a DDR1 RAM, so that is why I'm starting this project in order for those people who wanted to save time when trying to purchase something.
**END OF OFFTOPIC**

Here is the URL:
http://www.lowyatpricelists.com/

Built using OpenCart 1.5.3.1. The layout has been customized and a lot of functions has been nulled and removed. A responsive theme has been installed and customized as well to make it mobile friendly. Currently, the product are taken from newegg.com since I find it easier with all the reviews their customer has made for the existing product. It might serve as a good reference for those who start using this pricelist when looking for particular items especially the existing one.

What do you think this thing lack of right now?

Note: You could try the comparison features on processors. I haven't put any attributes on the other items yet.

Samsung 930BF LCD Monitor Problem

does anyone have any idea what is happening?
i tried to google for the problem and most of the search result is pointing out the capacitor problem and all the shop at lowyat claim that it's better to just buy a new one when i think its just a power error somewhere on the board. since none of the shop is actually helping me solving my problem but promoting their monitor instead, i think its better to ask for a wide audience opinion regarding this matter.

the power light is blinking as if the lcd is suffer from power loss everytime i hook the power cable to it.

My guess is, the problem lies within the 32-bit version of WinXP and the 32-bit version of maya, i might be wrong about that, and, th windows just detect the ram as 2.49GB of RAM although the actual RAM of the machine is 4GB. Is there any good solution to fully tune up the machine so that it will use its full processing ability for the rendering process?
