I know it's still 1 day more before the actual date but lets start the Christmas spirit from now. Just talk anything Christmas related should be fine here.

OK, as a start, i need to get myself a Christmas present for a male work colleague for our Christmas gift exchange later. Any suggestion on what i should get? Preferably something easy to find & easy to get them wrapped since i suck at wrapping stuff (basically stuff you can find at Shopping Malls). Oh and the price should be around RM 20 & below since we all agreed not to buy expensive presents for the gifts exchange.

OK, i admit. The real reason why i'm creating this thread is because i want to post the Youtube below.

OMG!!! It's is official that there will be Clannad TV anime. By Kyoto Animation non-the-less. The news came right after the airing of the last episode of Kanon 2006. The 30 sec trailer is already available on torrent & youtube.

Wah. I was surprised by this news. B'cos since the end of 2006 i only knew that there will be Clannad movie by Toei that will air this year (15/09/2007) but as far as the TV series go, there was no news at that time and i was praying that KyoAni will make it soon. And viola, my wish has come true.

To be honest, i don't know much about Clannad. For Key's top 3 games, Clannad is quite a silent topic & under publicized as compared to Kanon and AIR. I wonder why, since the the people that played the game said that it's just as excellent as the other two. Maybe because this game is totally 100% all age version (no H at all)? Oh well...

Anyway, as for me, i only have a couple of pics of Clannad & the game opening videos. I have zero knowledge about the storyline at all, which i'm glad to be because this will make me enjoy Clannad TV to the fullest, knowing nothing beforehand. That what made my AIR TV experience so special, while lessen my enjoyment of Kanon 2006 & Death Note anime to some extend (cos knowing the majority of the storyline beforehand leave very little room for surpise).

As for the casts, the main girls seiyuus are Nakahara Mai, Hirohashi Ryou, Kanda Akemi, Kuwashima Houko, Nonaka Ai and Noto Mamiko. I only recognised Noto Mamiko (Yakumo!!) though.

I wonder when the anime will be release though. Since KyoAni will air Lucky Star next and most probaly 2nd season of Haruhi afterwards, so does Clannad TV will air before or after the next Full Metal Panic installment? Hmmm, if it gonna be before FMP, this will surely pissed off FMP fans that are not also a Key fans. Heh.
