<title>Do you sometimes have second thoughts?</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5131644</link>
<description>I broke up with my ex-girlfriend in October last year. It wasn&amp;#39;t entirely a clean breakup as we were still contacting each other occasionally. During NYE 2021, she tried calling me, but I didn&amp;#39;t pick up as I was still mad about what happened that led to the breakup. Since then we didn&amp;#39;t really contact each other and I tried to live my life and heal my emotional wounds. (the relationship was LDR). With the support of some new and old friends, I slowly got back to my feet, and now, after 6 months, I had a lot of time to ponder what went wrong. Looking back, I felt that I could&amp;#39;ve handled and done things better and differently, and I felt that if we were still together now, we would make it through. But at the same time, I felt that I could just be having selective memories and maybe it wasn&amp;#39;t all as good as I remembered it to be. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any advice on what to do? Is it normal to have these thoughts / regrets? How do you get over it? I tried to force my thoughts away and not to look back, but they are coming back more frequently recently i.e. when i am driving, or alone. Is it guilt that I had wronged her in the past?</description>
