Using Streamyx/Unifi during thunderstorm ?

What are your experiences using Streamyx/Unifi during thunderstorm ? Is it safe ? Will it harm the modem ? My brother in law said that it is better to switch off the Streamyx modem during thunderstorm but it is okay to use Unifi during thunderstorm . So , what is your opinion ? I remember a few years ago , I always disconnect the phone line from the Streamyx modem during thunderstorm , and I switch off the modem too .

Cheap basic phones with long battery life .

I need recommendation for cheap basic phone ( less than RM 500 if possible ) that has a very long battery life . Long battery life is a must because I don't like charging the phone everyday . I want to use this for Whatsapp only . Feel free to give any opinion or advice .

Dirty restaurants in Malaysia

Today I gonna talk about dirty restaurants in this country . I have to say that most restaurants and warung here are mostly dirty and unhygienic . But most Malaysians continue to visit these eateries . Something wrong with out mentality . I rarely eat outside . The only safe bet are the fast food restaurants . I read in the newspapers where people find all kind of filthy things in their restaurant food like lizards , cockroach , rubber band , caterpillar , worms and even part of rats . I had enough of these . I try to avoid if possible eating at the dirty , filthy eateries .

Another version is by a girl singer . The song were neither slow or fast but the the song were very catchy and nice . Really appreciate if anyone can give me info . In the newspaper , the Deputy prime minister said there are about 40,000 centenarians ( more than 100 years old ) in this country . Out of these , 36,000 are chinese while malay and indians are only 2,000 each . Why is this ?

I think this has to do with the diet . Chinese mostly eat boil and steam food while malay and indians eat many fried food using lots of oil . From my research the worst food is fried animal food . So if you want a better chance to live more than 100 years old , follow the chinese diet ie boil and steam .

I have a Daihatsu Aura . I am the second owner and I bought it from my uncle . My uncle took great care of the car and so am I . The car is still in good working condition . Now I need to dispose the car because I'm going to get another used car and no more space to park the car . The problem is that I truly love the Aura because it is a very reliable car and I only interested in disposing it as scrap car . I really hate to see someone else drive the car on the road . How much you think I can get for scrap ? Also need advice and free to comment .
