Is valuation req'd for property loan on copmleted

I am wondering if valuation is required for property loan drawn down to purchase completed unit from the developer directly (recently completed) - my banker told me it's required - but however, I do feel that my banker is trying to earn some commission from the valuer.

Also, even if , it's required - is there any discount on the master price list (on valuation fee) published? Normally, how many % is the discount?

Hi.. Have anyone have an idea about investment banking in Maybank ( Aseambanker)? I got a job offer for that:　management associate in investment banking...I will be place directly in investment banking, instead of switching around..

Is the place the place to be? and how's the market perception of Maybank- IB line (aseambanker).. by the way, is auditor could easily transit into IB line in the future?

Hi... I have just got an offer letter from Sony in the department of business planning, (since I am a business-graduate) student ... how's that looks like? and would u advice me to take the offer? is there room for growth in business planning department.

by the way, after 3 or 4 years, how much would the pay be in Sony ?

Is anyone of you working as a management trainee in bank? I really hope I could work as a management trainee in bank? Would you mind to share some info about that?

By the way, how can I apply to that ? I have applied to the trainee bank officer of OCBC recently, but I din get any reply from them.. how about you all? And do you know which bank is recruting this position recently..
