I’d like to know what scholarship options are available for students who have completed the IGCSE?

Can they apply for Khazanah/Bank Negara?

We have already tried to apply for ASEAN.

Sister wants to do something related to Economics/ Business or finance.

HDD and RAM upgrade for Macbook Pro 13" mid-2012

Hi,

1. I have a Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2012 Non Retina Display.

2. I would like to upgrade my

( a ) RAM to 2 x 4GB 1600MHz DDR 3; and

( b ) HDD to either an SSD or Hybrid Drive.

3. I have looked on the internet, and there is an overload of information, which is just making me more confused, and does not address what I want.

4. Specifically, I'd like to know

( a ) Which Brand of RAM will work best with MBP. Perhaps if you have done this upgrade before you could share with me the brand you chose, and how is the performance after the upgrade; and

( b ) How to decide whether I should go for SSD or Hybrid Drive.;

( c ) Which brand is best suited for the MBP.

5. I use this laptop for work/studies and for normal everyday browsing/streaming. Work and studies involves web browsing, and using word processors and pdf readers. But I can end up opening MANY tabs and windows at a time to cross refer things.

I don't run virtual machines, edit video/photos, or play games on the laptop.

6. Would anyone mind sharing with me their thought's personal experiences? Would be great if the parts recommended can be sourced in Malaysia.

1. My battery health indicator says "service battery", does this require 'servicing' or replacement of the battery.

2. Do you know what is the price to service/replace at the official Apple service centre's.

3. What about 3rd party repair shops. Are they reliable. How much do they charge. Do they use original batteries?

MagSafe charger needs repair

So this was fated to happen to my MacBook charger. Well technically that is a photo from google, but same issue with my cable.

Does anyone know a store that i can get this repaired at in KL? How much would it cost, and would they replace the cord with an original cord from apple?

Would it be better to just buy a new adapter from apple altogether. How much would that cost?

WTA Brake Rotor Rust And Pad Replacement

Hi, i bought my proton suprema in 2014 july. By 2016, I've started to hear screeching noise from the brakes. many times proton dealer recommended to just do skimming.

Now they say need to replace brake rotors front and rear + brake pad front and rear at RM 764.80.

Can i know if anyone faced this similar issue? Could it be a defective rotor, since this is a new car?

Is it common for this to happed to a 3 year old car?

How to buy abandoned house.

Hi id appreciate if someone could explain to me the procedure of buying an abandoned house. This house is adacent to mine and according to my parents the former owner had died 30 years ago, and no family members came to claim this house.

Few years back my dad checked, this house was 'lelong'-ed to some chinese dude a long time ago. But this chinese dude has never stepped foot here.

All the metal gates etc have been looted. Whats left is just the building, we boarded up the main door to prevent animals breeding there. But i suspect this is a haven for rats roaches pests etc.

So id like to know, the procedure and is there probably a way in law rhat if an owner does not maintain his land, can his ownership rights be relinquished? Also what is an estimate price for such houses? Located in a taman maluri kuala lumpur.

How to pull off a good grade 4 Econs at A2

Hi guys, okay firstly the background of my issue, this time around for the A2 sylabbus, my subject matter didnt seem to 'gel' together. I found myself not being able to understand key concepts and reasoning behing them. This is in contrast to AS where Econs was my favourite subject where evertything gelled together perfectly.

As such, i got a score of 90 for AS. Hovever im definately not very optimistic for A2. I barely managed to scrape through a pass for my Mocks. With 18 days to go, i lacking in confidence in my subject matter, being unequipped on many topics, no being able to understand key concepts and having difficulty answering questions.

So i need to know on what i can do about this. What strategy can i try in this short time. Any tips for this paper? Im hopping to be able to at least attain a B score this time in light of my lack of preperation and understanding of the subject. Although anything higher would be good too.

I am looking for a private tutor to come in and teach the Law, Economics and Business Studies subjects at A2.

Location: Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur

Description:
- I require the tutor to be able to teach me the chapters that I am weak in.
-Tutor could be a Student pursuing a higher level of qualification, or someone who has taken this subject before. Additionally if you're indeed a teacher/lecturer in this subject already that would be cool.
-Besides teaching subject matter, i require the tutor to be able to provide exam question answering guides and technique's as well as marking assignments.
-I am a diligent learner, only that I face problems with certain topics (AS results reasonably good)
-I would be sitting for A2 this may/june sitting, so i would need someone who is committed to come in regularly and ensure that the required subject matter is covered

-There is a copy of every other subject except law.
