my company is reducing manpower

guys i got a few questions in mind regarding what my employer told me yesterday

company is cutting head off due to reduced profit on their new contract

there are 2 options given,
1. reduce 15 percent allowance (we have fix allowance for shift and travel every month) and no increment for following days (bonus not sure)
2. they will compensate if choose to leave (but they haven't said what is the amount to pay, they will discuss and let me know tomorrow)

i did search online regarding for the compensation formula before,

salary x 12 months / 365 days x day entitlement x years of service

what my questions are
1. does the salary x12 months included my monthly fix allowances (shift and travel) as there are almost as much as my basic and mainly my income.
2. i service the company since 2014 sept, so is 3 years and 10 months, will the formula (years of service) counted as 3 or 3.75?
3. they let me know (verbally) yesterday 19th jun and the termination is on 1st of July, does that even legal? will they needed to pay the 2 months notice (as my contract) + the compensation as well? as they let me know within 10 days.
4. will i get income tax for the compensation?
5. what is the whole proper procedures to notice as my company good in con people....
6. what happen if the offer below the calculated by using the formula?

hopefully all shifu can advise me a little, or any person who experience this before/ professional lawyer/ or other company HR can private message me for help

btw some of my colleagues going to department of labour malaysia tomorrow AGAIN to ask for details as well but once they went, different person give different story, some just ignoring it or stop following up even got the complain slip

where to dumb used engine oil

wonder if anyone knows where to dump used engine oil (klang valley area)

i am doing own engine oil changes, and now i got a few bottles to dump, i know some of you might suggest drop it to car service garage but i been asking a few shops and they refused it with a bad face.

i don't mind drive and drop it to the collector as long as klang valley area.

Proton Persona SV power windows noise

Hi Guys

I need some advises,

My Persona SV power windows make noise while up and down, the noise like when you hit a wood softly and fast, but the moving is smooth, no slow or stuck. It works ok everyday just except the sound

They fixed it for me once but it comes again,

BUT, the very weird thing is, now it only happen, when it is hot (means during day time)

If early in the morning or night/raining day, it works normal, but afternoon, the sound happen everytime when it is up or down.

I went to service center, but it doesn't make sound in the morning, so they told me (and i saw) they just spray something like WD to make it smooth, because there wasn't any noise.

Anyone happen this before and know where is the root, my warranty expired soon and i wish they could solve this before i need to pay it more.

Hi Guys, I am in a situation and don't know what to do

I am working in a small factory

On Thursday afternoon my streamyx disconnected and modem got no ADSL light at all, even plug in phone with no tone as well.

I tried with another modem and got no light as well.

Same day, I called TM and made a report

Next day same time (friday) I called them again, and the CS told me they are doing restoration in our area, they say nothing else can do just wait

Saturday Sunday closed

Yesterday (monday) I called again to CS, then they say the report from technician say the service is running will, they checked until "end point" and sure no issue from their site. And told me to check my wiring and stuff. I actually suspected maybe something wrong at our place, but I asked, can they send somebody here to check as i really have no idea where is the cabling box located and from where to where. But they refused to do so. After an hour I drive to big TM point they have express for business customer, I went there and tell them the situation, the CS sent an email for their technical department regarding my issue and they say they will call me same day (yesterday - monday) but I got no calls at all.

Today Tuesday, The ADSL light still no on, and I really have no idea where to check, this factory not big but not small as well

And idea I should call cabling/wiring vendor or I should call again to streamyx
