Need Recommendation For 2.0 Speaker

First of all, I'm not an audiophile and I just love music and looking for good speaker. I've been doing a lot of reading on r/Zeos on speaker recommendation but most of the speaker listed aren't available on Malaysia, or really overpriced.

I'm looking for 2.0 setup for my desk setup in a small room. I listen mostly to pop, country, classical, and some electro. Bass isn't really my concern so I don't plan to get sub anytime soon. I don't really plan to play the speaker loud too, my room is really small and I don't want my neighbors to hate me, so I don't really need powerful speaker that can wake up everyone in my house. I don't plan to upgrade the speaker or amp too, maybe add a sub in the future if I'm not satisfied with the bass. What I concern the most is probably the longevity and of course, good quality sound for my budget.

I prefer passive speaker + amp but I don't mind with powered speaker if it has a good value.
My budget is under RM1k but I can push up to RM1.5k if it's worth the price.

Was planning to go for JBL LSR305 but shipping from Amazon/Ebay is really pricy and I don't know if there's any additional taxes when it arrived in Malaysia. And seller in Malaysia seems to sell it for higher price than the Amazon price+shipping and import tax.

My other choices was Micca MB42x or the PB42x since I found a lot of good reviews on them, but can't find any local seller and the shipping price to Malaysia is just not worth it imo.

I went to lowyat and jalan pasar, and saw mostly Edifier brand and some unknown brands and I just can't decide if there's really good since there aren't much online reviews about them. And speakers in Jalan pasar seems to mostly focus on the bass and I don't really like it.

So yeah, any recommendations, advice and tips are greatly appreciated.
