Hi

Need help here. My PS3 hang while playing monkey island and so i went out and came back but still the same. I cant off the console using the ps button and also the touch on/off button so I turn off the power switch at the back.

then i turned it on - an error message pops up "cannot start - the correct hard disk was not found".

anyone knows how to rectify this? any method to solve without changing the hard disk? or...

(hard disk is the original 80gb fat ps3)

Currently my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-81915P-G and GC is Radeon X300 256MB.

would like some advice on upgrades of GC for HD and LCD monitor. And what about power supply? do i need to change it as well? currently using cap ayam 450W.

Usage is for photos, movies, browsing.
