If you had to choose an MMO based on the story...

For most of us who play MMOs, we can safely say that if you want a good story, stick with the damn singleplayer... but that never stopped the MMO developers from trying to stick a plot or two at us whether we wanted it or not. (and sometimes at the cost of gameplay balancing or network stability).

So let's say for a moment, stories should matter in MMOs.. let's say we put the RPG back in MMORPG.

What kind of story would you like to be a part of when you play your MMOs?

What kind of character would you want to be?

It's a retractable umbrella. The pin and the pole connected to the tip of the umbrella broke.

It has sentimental value. Please help?
