fucking pile of stinking retards. never have i been slapped with a notice to pay custom tax with any other carrier - dhl/aramex/ups. just because my shipper didn't put the value of shipping i have to be charged according to the customs schedule which is min RM 480.25, i paid USD 41 for shipping. yes partly my shipper's fault but these fuckers at fedex know the exact amount why can't they declare that. fucking cbs.

other carriers have the sense to make customs clearance as painless as possible and minimise costs to their customers but these fedex cbs love to leave their stuff at KLIA and pay any and all fucking fees because fuck their customers that's why.

going through their customer support was like a fucking maze as well they kept diverting me everywhere saying different departments need to call me and what not. tell me initially customs charged me the shipping then change their sob story when i find out customs impose fucking shipping and it was fedex that slapped on the ridiculous shipping charge when they fucking jolly well know how much the seller paid for shipping. fuck these cbs

if anyone here ever buys stuff from overseas DONT USE FEDEX. FUCKERS WILL SUCK YOUR BLOOD DRY.

i know there's been another post made to stay away from fedex but i only found out after the fact and would like to reiterate their shit service and their retarded SOPs that don't put customers first.

Pay GST for goods from the US?

So I've bought electronics plus components from the US and had them shipped into Malaysia with no issue with tax before until recently I got a waterblock and backplate for my GPU and the seller used FedEx and now they say they need to collect GST for the item? What the hell this package is only worth usd 2xx and I'm gettin taxed? I had a shipment from Amazon worth over usd 5xx three months back and didn't face this issue also with FedEx?

And as far as I'm aware electronics aren't meant to be taxable?

I want to know what the hell is going on and if I'm being scammed because it's ridiculous. They're asking me to pay rm 90 for the GST. I called FedEx and they said they'll get their tax department to call me back tomorrow but I don't trust delivery companies. Anyone else had this experience? What can be done?
