I am new to this and I am looking for the Mino Flip Cam which is of a slightly cheaper range of camcorders. The best thing is that it allows me to put into my pocket and record stuffs everywhere I go.

So where can I get this in Malaysia? Also, how much is the price approx?

These few years, bloggers have seen people like Darren the PBlogger, John the Chow and the Cow, Yaro the scammer or even me, rise up fast blogging about blogging or having a MMO blog. The truth is, this is a very bad niche to enter.

First of all, the common saying, don't blog for money lah, if not making money online people won't read your MMO blog lah... Blah blah blah... Enough said with this, blogging and make money online is not rocket science, seriously. You only need to get the basics right. Yes, the basics which you can read under Blogging for Beginners at Problogger.net. After you have finish reading, you are good to go. Why? This is because all the contents, no matter how you read it, are the same rules in different words.

Also, when is the last time you don't see a fad on the blogosphere, especially if you follow a few blogging tips blog or MMO blog? First Technorati, then, BlogRush, then comes SU and Entrecard. The current building fad will be Twitter. Why is this so? Because these niches are so populated with bloggers who know nothing but to rewrite what people on the top writes. Thus, pushing up a fad.

Well, you might say that you can build yourself to the top as well. What I can tell you is that, you can try but the top will not come, even after 5-7 or 8 years and the worst of all, you won't make enough to cover your hosting even though you have hundreds of uniques daily. Why? Again, if you follow the niche I am talking about here, A-listers are forming a coalition (guest post exchange, inter-promoting e-books and products, pushing up social media presence for each other) which will stop you from going near. Do you think that people up there will one day stop by and thank you for promoting their site or product? Hell, no! They have much stronger people than you who are desperately using their promotion (fad) as your blog content!

Building a successful blog is just about one thing:
Bring in search engine traffic and try to retain it.

That's all! Don't tell me you are doing well with Entrecard, SU or whatever. How many of them bring you money other than numbers? Yes, with the numbers come the clicks that earn you cents. If you want to consider using the numbers as your tool to make money, get thousands of uniques a day, not spikes, thousands of unique visits a day, consistent traffic! Then, you can make money off generic ads like Nuffnang, private ad sales that pays you for just the numbers. Again, if you are in the blogging niche, having traffic is just a small part of a private ad deal, your stats will be questioned kao kao by advertisers. What is your click-through rate? What is the conversion rate of your last advertiser? What is the bounce rate of your site? Where does the traffic comes from most? Which countries are these visitors from?

Again, what I would like to say is that blogging is simple. It is simple than building a site!

What do you guys have to say about my crappy arguments above? If you think blogging is not simple and you have tonnes of questions, I will consider to contribute in helping bloggers via this section in LYN. No strings attached. All I want to do is to help bloggers out and don't get confused anymore by more blogging tips.

P/S: One reasons that I think most bloggers fail is that because they read too much and jump onto fads too easily. Think about it.

Diconnected from Public Wi-Fi

I am running Vista Home Premium. I am now online via my college's Wi-Fi after a restart. The restart was made due to the disconnection from the Internet but not the LAN network.

Firefox will show unable to connect message instead of server not found.

I tried repairing (recommended by Vista) but the connection still won't work and only by restarting my laptop, the Internet can be accessed. People around me don't have the same problem as mine so I suspect it has something to do with my system but not quite sure about what is wrong.

Can someone guide me here? Is it a possible virus infection or a wrong move?

Detection Problem

My laptop failed to detect my home network. I have two PCs which both of them are connected to the network but not my laptop.

I uses Vista and SSID broadcast is enabled but the SSID just didn't show up in my Connect To... windows. Anyone can help me out?

Blue Screen and Now BIOS Driver

I just encountered a blue screen with my Windows Vista and I managed to recover it. The problem now is that although my laptop is able to function nicely, the BIOS driver is gone and Windows is prompting to install every time I log in.

Also, my touch pad can't be used although under the device manager, the touch pad is working properly, I guess it is something to do with the Blue screen. My keyboard to the laptop can still be used and when a mouse is plugged in, it can be used. All is fine other than the touch pad.

What to do to recover my touch pad and get a driver for my BIOS?

Laptop Uptime

I guess my problem is quite unique here. For some reasons I can't save my FIFA Manager 07 game (it says disk space not enough, but it's definitely enough) and I would like to go one shot without saving and continue playing.

When I feel like resting, I will minimise it and don't shut down my laptop. Can I do this? How long can my laptop tahan? Also, is there a better way to do this? Like hibernation or some sort?

I hope I can get some reviews from those using paid hosting for their WP blogs. As WP blogs are so mesmerising, I am thinking of switching over to it using a paid host.

Is there any recommendations? I thought of Exabytes but I do have some friends overseas and I don't want them to whine about slow loading speed due to the local webhost. Any recommendations, guys?

I have a blog obviously and the link is in my siggy.
Well, I received some comments that it will be better for me to put in a banner rather than just the text as title.
I am nothing in using image editing software and Illustrator. Can anyone tell me what are the basic software and skills that I need to learn up to start designing?

The easier way , look at my blog, I you would like to replace the "Simple Life of YP", what banner would come out from your mind?

I reserved a thing somewhere in this forum and I decided for a COD but the time and location is not fixed yet.

It is not the kind of things like T-shirt that after order are placed and printed, it is hard to return. It's a second hand thing and of course it can still be sold to others.

If I reject this booking now, am I FFKing? Please help... I am thinking of not to buy already but if it is a must, I'll try.

ITunes Portable Software

OK, the situation is like this. My father just bought a Ipod Nano 4GB for me and I am doubtful for some things. I haven't get to use the Pod yet since I'm not home until this CNY. My dad told me that I can only use ITunes to put in songs...

Songs that I want to input into my Ipod is only through ITunes or I can just copy and paste like pendrive? I thought some cheap MP3 player out there uses copy paste...

If it is true that only ITunes can be used, I am really facing trouble since my college PC does not allow any installation of software so how can I put in my songs as I also dont have my own notebook...

Is it possible that IPod can be charged with an adapter, through the wall plug instead of using the USB?

Anyone out there can guide me with this?

Problem with IE

The blog in my sig is a 3 column blog and it has no problem viewing in Firefox but in IE, the third column went to the bottom of the page.

Can someone try to view it in both these browsers and tell what you encounter?

Anything wrong with my HTML? Someone please help!
