KUALA LUMPUR: Dua warga Malaysia didakwa hilang di Jakarta, Indonesia selepas tiba ke negara itu, Khamis lalu untuk menonton sebuah konsert di sana. Kamarol Arifin Mohamad Darus, 27, dan rakannya, Mohd Shafa Ahmad, 29, kedua-duanya berasal dari Kampung Sijangkang, Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor berlepas ke Jakarta menerusi penerbangan dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur 2 (klia2), Khamis lalu.

Kakak Kamarol Ariffin, Junaina, 33, khuatir dengan keselamatan adik serta rakannya itu kerana tidak menerima sebarang khabar berita daripada mereka selepas kedua-duanya tidak muncul di klia2, Ahad lalu. "Mereka sepatutnya berada di Jakarta selama empat hari dan sepatutnya sampai dengan penerbangan dari Jakarta pada jam 11 malam, Ahad lalu. "Namun selepas lebih empat jam menunggu, mereka tidak muncul menyebabkan saya bimbang dan membuat satu laporan polis di Balai Polis klia2 sebelum melakukan semakan di kaunter imigresen. KAMAROL (kiri) dan Mohd Shafa. "Semakan mendapati mereka memang berlepas ke Jakarta kira-kira jam 2.15 petang dan tiba di sana Khamis lalu, bagaimanapun tiada rekod menunjukkan mereka pulang ke Malaysia," katanya ketika dihubungi BH, hari ini.

Menurut Junaina, Kamarol Ariffin yang lebih mesra dipanggil Boboy oleh keluarga Mohd Shafa sepatutnya menonton konsert berkenaan bersama enam lagi rakan lain, namun mereka menaiki penerbangan berasingan pada Jumaat. "Rakannya yang lain memaklumkan tidak berjumpa dengan Kamarol Ariffin dan Mohd Shafa sebaik tiba di Jakarta seperti yang dijanjikan dan mereka berdua juga tidak mendaftar masuk ke hotel yang mereka tempah.

"Kali terakhir saya bersamanya Khamis lalu dia cuma berpesan supaya tidak lupa untuk menunggunya pulang di klia2 pada hari Ahad, tiada apa yang pelik dengan kelakuannya, cuma dia teruja untuk bercuti ke Jakarta," katanya. Katanya lagi, dia dan keluarganya melakukan pelbagai usaha dengan melaporkan perkara itu kepada pihak Wisma Putra serta kedutaan Malaysia di Indonesia serta kedutaan Indonesia di sini.

"Hari ini saya terima panggilan telefon daripada pihak kedutaan Indonesia memaklumkan rekod pasport menunjukkan adik saya dikesan mendaftar masuk di Johor semalam, namun jika benar dia sudah pulang ke Malaysia, mengapa sehingga kini dia masih tidak menghubungi saya atau pulang ke rumah? "Kami buntu memikirkan apa sebenarnya berlaku, namun saya minta semua pihak doakan keselamatan adik saya dan Mohd Shafa dan sehingga kini kami sekeluarga masih menunggu sebarang perkembangan," kata Junaina lagi. Junaina berkata mereka juga tidak menerima maklumat mengenai dakwaan adiknya dan rakan itu dirompak. Difahamkan, Kamarol Ariffin yang masih bujang dan bekerja sebagai penghantar surat di Klang ke Jakarta untuk menonton konsert 'Armin Only Embrance World Tour' oleh DJ Armin Van Buuren di Jiexpo Kemayoran, Jakarta yang berlangsung pada Jumaat malam.

BACHOK - Seorang penganggur dari Jelawat menyalahgunakan wang Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) diterima untuk membeli pil kuda.

Suspek yang masih bujang berusia 24 tahun itu mengakui baru saja menerima BR1M dan menggunakannya untuk membeli pil kuda ketika ditahan pasukan anggota penguat kuasa Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK).

I bought an electric scooter for my kid, It says charger 6V, 1A, charge for 6 hours.

I lost the charger, and buying its replacement may take awhile to ship.
In the meantime I have a functional charger from another motorized appliance, 12V, 1A.
It the only charger in the house with the same sized input jack.
Can I use this one instead?

Since Power = Voltage x Ampere x Time, this means my charging time should cut to half and it'll be OK right?

- It wasn't a sleep-walk-interview. It was a WALK-IN interview to become a cabin crew. That should mean that you should be well aware of the job requirements and how you should present yourself beforehand.

- Makeup guidelines are never compromised, even after you've flown for so many years. If the boss of your flight thinks your lipstick is too pale, you better go and slap on some baboon-butt-red lipstick on, girl.

3. The place was too crowded, said to take place at 10am - 11am but registration was closed before 11am. Some waited half a day and were asked to only drop their resume and go home. Rayani Air was too demanding because too many people showed up. Most people who came from afar, were still asked to leave.

- Most airlines start their interview at around 7:30am - 8am, just like mine. I got there at 6:30 in the morning, all made up with no braces on of course (duh!), and there were already a lot of other people. My interview ended at 7pm, with no known results.

- Take it this way, if you really want the job, you'd do anything for it. You'd prepare yourself weeks in advance. Not show up and expect people to treat you like they owe you the job. Especially not when you had braces on and not made up.

- Get there early. Some people buy flight tickets to a different country for an interview. If you feel like complaining, stay in your tiny cave and spare us your rants.

- Mine was a write-in interview. I applied online and only limited number of people was given an interview slot. Out of around 2000 candidates that day, only 12 of us got through. Bear in mind, walk-in interviews generally have more attendees.

4. Some were asked to leave because of no necktie, body not proportionate, 'jari tak lurus'. "Senang cerita, RA nak calon seperti model." One dude was asked to go home because of his smile.

- I would like to know: WHO DOESN'T WEAR A NECKTIE TO AN INTERVIEW ANYWAY?! 😒

- Welcome to our world where a nice smile is able to fix almost anything! We can subtly tell you that you're an idiot in front of all the other passengers by saying something really, really sarcastic and end it with a smile. I wasn't rude, I smiled 😁

- Yes, as absurd as it may sound, we went through all of the above. Your body must be proportionate, and hands must be free of scars and abnormalities because you'll be serving food to your passengers.

- I had to smile in front of a grooming instructor while she checked up close for crooked teeth (and God knows what else) from left to right a number of times.

- If you don't look like a model, at least if you've got good knowledge about the job, I'm pretty sure you'll have a higher chance in getting it.

If you think you're so privileged that you could simply show up unprepared and expect people to hand you the job on a silver platter, you're kidding yourself. Some people I know went to 5-7 different interviews to finally get the job.

Stop insulting yourself, remove your braces, put more makeup on, and try again. Good luck!

Sometimes I just want to go out for weekend date, but very often it became impossible, because he had to go to his stupid lab to finish up some failed or continuing work.

Another thing is that my older relatives tend to be surprised that my boyfriend isn't even working despite being 27 year old. But whenever I think of him, it just annoys me so much, like he is still someone sponsored by his parents and the retard government without generating a single cent for years.

Whenever I look at his computer and files, seriously, I have no idea what the fuck those things are. How the hell am I supposed to know what the super stretched out tables, weird figures, and graphs with different colours and patterns are. I don't even understand what he has been doing all these years, seems like they're all crap that don't mean anything to human. Are there anyone who will consider going through all these work?

So, girls, please, the best advice for you is that no matter who you date, never go for a phd guy, or even a scientist, if possible.

Seorang lelaki maut selepas kereta Proton Saga yang dinaiki terputus dua akibat dirempuh sebuah kenderaan lain dalam kejadian di Jalan Tuaran Bypass di sini malam tadi.

Dalam kejadian pukul 8.55 malam itu, mangsa Yacob Ahmad, 50, dari Kampung Bim-Bim, Sandakan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian akibat kecederaan parah di badan dan kepala.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Kinabalu, Asisten Komisioner M. Chandra berkata, kejadian berlaku ketika mangsa yang memandu seorang diri membuat pusingan 'U' sebelum dirempuh sebuah kereta Perodua Kelisa dari arah Menggatal yang dinaiki dua lelaki.

"Rempuhan menyebabkan kereta Proton Saga itu terputus dua manakala mangsa pula tersepit di dalam kenderaanya.

"Pemandu dan penumpang Perodua Kelisa pula mengalami kecederaan parah dan dihantar ke Hospital Queen Elizabeth untuk rawatan lanjut," katanya di sini hari ini.
