Does the iPhone 5s need an external DAC?

I just bought a new iPhone 5s, and while it sounds good the way it does, it definitely needs a good amp to bring out more.

I'm looking at the FiiO E11 for the amp.

However, i'm also considering the FiiO E17 because it has a DAC.

What do you think?

Alternatively, is there anywhere in KL that sells the RE-400 for <RM400?
