Connecting 2 Home Networks

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. Any help will be much appreciated.

So this is my problem..
My friends and I live in 2 homes next to each other. These are the equipments available in each home:

Home 1
3 x PC's
1 x 4-port router
1 x Streamyx Modem

Home 2
6 x PC's (3 wired, 3 WLAN)
1 x 4-port router + WLAN
1 x Streamyx Modem

I'd like to create a link between these two LAN networks by running a RJ45 cable between these 2 routers to share files and printers only. BUT, I do not want to share the WAN connections i.e. the Internet connections of the 2 houses are kept separated. Is this possible? How do I get about it?

How to claim warranty from AMD?

I have a dead Phenom II 940. It went kaput with no warning. I understand that the norm is to send the processor back to the reseller. But how do I get my warranty claim if the reseller is out of business? Is there a particular department in AMD Malaysia that I can contact? Really lost here.

please help with mobo problem

Yesterday, my PC was behaving erratically in the morning. I managed to complete my tasks, shut it down normally and went to class. Came back in the evening to find that it refused to boot. Now I'm wondering if the mobo is dead.

MSI DKA790GX Platinum
Phenom II 940 BE
1.5 yr old system
All 3 switches on the motherboard have been jammed for the past 3 months (Power, Reset CMOS, Reset), but the jammed switches did not pose any problems before.

When I turn on the power supply,

"Power" button LED lights up (on mobo)

When I press the power button on the casing

1. All the fans start up
2. CPU gets warm
3. RAM gets warm
4. "Reset" & "Reset CMOS" button LED's light up
5. Power LED on casing does not light up
6. Graphic Card power LED lights up
7. System does not boot into BIOS
8. No signal to the monitor
9. No significant noise or vibration from HDD that shows the HDD is running like normal

Actions taken:

1. Tried removing all PSU cables and CMOS battery...waited for 15 mins... reconnected and restarted...NOTHING
2. Tried removing graphics card and ran from onboard graphics...NOTHING
3. Tried above actions together...NOTHING
4. Tried removing RAM and booting...NO WARNING BEEP (i wonder if mobo has a speaker, not sure bout warning LED cos i dunno where it is)...and no boot up as well

Is my mobo dead? Is there anything else I missed out? I would be very grateful if someone could help me.

Rowing

Rowers are a hard breed to come by in Malaysia. If any rowers are in this community, speak up. I'm just curious to find out how many rowers we can actually gather here. And by rowing I do not mean dragon boat or kayaking. I'm talking bout the real deal scullers and sweepers.
