Personal tax savings is plenty on the internet but nobody talks much about tax savings for business (Sdn Bhd)

I’m a fairly new business owner myself And my company grew at a rapid pace this year and I’m scratching hard to maximise my tax savings.

What’s the best strategy you got?

Is buying a company car and add on as a company expense worth it? Assuming company is profitable

Starting up a company

I’m set up a Sdn bhd company a week ago and I hired few employees for the company.

But I have no idea how to handle their EPF and socso 😅

How can I proceed from here? Do I need to create another KWSP account for employer?

I'm looking for a suitable candidate for admin works. Age can be any as long as fully committed to this job as full time. The company run for 2 years and still considered as a startup. At this point of time, we not looking for an office for the time being but we do need a long term admin.

Job scope
- Handling clients

Requirements
- Can speak fluent malay/english

I’m looking to hear from those of you who decided to leave their days job for being self-employed and running your own business. I need to hear stories of Jose of your with success, failures and anything in between.

I’m 23, I have been running my business 1 year ago when I’m in university while I worked full time in very reputable MNC company. I’m getting to the point where splitting my time between 2 demanding jobs has been very challenging and I find it difficult to see myself doing much longer. This year, my business has been blowing up recently with quite a few clients reaching up to me for my services which I made a total of RM200k this year alone. (My revenues keeps increasing as I put more effort in. Currently sitting around a stable RM30k per month) while I make RM3.6K for my full time job(fresh graduate).

With that in mind, I have a serious fear of leaving my stable pay check in exchange for a career that feels like an extremely risky hustle.

I’ll take any input and would love to hear personal stories that you might want to share going from a stable 9-5 to running your own business.

I lost motivation

I have been working for exactly 1 year and I'm considered an above average performer in MNC company but lately I felt really low in motivation especially in learning new things or engaging in projects which I frequently does it when I first started in this company. Now, whenever I have late meetings, I get extremely annoyed. I have thought of leaving the company but I scared it was just my emotion doing the talk.

Aside from this, I have a side business which I have been doing quite well. The profit is somewhere around RM30k per month while my full time job is only RM3600 which is a huge difference. As the my side business continue to performed, my motivation in continuing my full time job is getting lower and lower. Do anybody have this type of problem? I consider taking my side business and transition it to full time but I scared it's too much of a risk to be risking my future with when I have been working really hard through the year just to throw away now. Slowly, my side business gets me so busy that I have to work on it during my full time..

Should I be moving out my full time job to something relax? or tried to grind it? or just transition my business to full time instead? I'm so lost..

Opening sole proprietorship bank acc

I would like to create a bank acc for my business and I pay a visit to local Maybank nearby and my request got rejected because I need an introducer to open a business bank acc.

At the moment I do not have anybody who have a current account to help me become an introducer so may I know whether does any bank who doesn’t need an introducer to open a current account ?

EPF Self Contribution

I'm currently working salaried employee and I regularly topped up my EPF as self contribution.

I have a large stack of savings where I sold stuffs during my uni as my side income which churns up around 2-3k per month. Annually less than 30k so I did not pay my tax since I heard that such a small figure doesnt need to pay tax since I'm around 18-22 that time.

Is it alarming if I topped up my EPF until it is more than my current annually salary?

I’m fresh graduate that earns me around 3.6k per month and I have a side business income that earns me around 8-10k a month which brings me earning up a total of roughly 10k at least in a month. I’m someone who is well versed with investment. My portfolio consisting of FD,ASM,Stocks and crypto.

Recently my partner mentioned that I over-invested despite my investment made a profit and I should save my money in the bank instead.

Disclosing how much is my net profit, I’m roughly 160k in net profit in 23 years old and I only keeping 10k in my bank and rest into FD,ASM,Stocks and crypto. I don’t mind risking my money for high risk investment since I’m still on the young side but the worry some of my partner bought me into some thoughts..

I like tech so I valued CCTV highly if they can connect to alexa/google home but that just a bonus point

Mainly part time job.. I’m looking for mass volume where I can advertise my job post on internet.

I consistently been posting on FB job groups, carousell and whatapp group and looking to expand more.

Would like to ask the experience of using mudah.my and WOBB? I knew those platform would need some payment to begin with. I don’t mind paying them but I would like to know whether the return would be good enough. Anyone have experience in using it ? Or can recommend more platform where I can share my job post ?
