a chocolate spilled laptop can be fix? and it is in off mode. It was in my bag and the bottle that contain chocolate leaked. Sent my laptop to service center but they said got stain d. So have to change the board or circuit etc etc. which almost cost the same as new laptop. My laptop is less than one year so kind of sayang T..T . Any recommendation for repair shop or any of u had this prob before and how to solve it.

I know I know I was dumb , stupid , careless what ever you say to me. but I hope I can spend the least to revive this laptop. many thanks

Anyone of you pay thru e-bayaran? Cos I am confuse in this system, where I don't understand there is a column called
No/Bil. ansuran (where from 1 up to 99) . So does it means I can pay in installment up to 99 times? cos by default it is in 99.

I know that Compac selling C700 series in cheap price (for Citibank holder), and very tempting. But sadly is free OS without any drivers is troublesome. This is d feedback I got from HP regional customer contact centre:

Thank you for contacting HP Email support. My name is Adam and I will be assisting you regarding your HP Compaq Presario C749TU Notebook PC.

From your email, we understand that you need drivers of windows XP for the Notebook.

xxxx, regarding the installation of windows XP in the Notebook, I need to inform that HP does not recommend changing the Operating System where it could not guarantee a high level of compatibility for all basic hardware and software components of the notebook. Notebook device drivers (including graphics, BIOS, chipset, etc) for some notebook components may simply not be available (now or in the future). Also I need to inform you that this notebook is designed for the Windows Vista so the exact drivers are only available for the Windows Vista at HP web site.
