Damage reported during Transit

Hi all daikors,

Recently bought a laptop via official website from a well known brand "L", however, it took longer than the advertised to ship to me, I haven't received till today.

Yesterday when I track the shipping status, it has damage reported when it reaches Malaysia Sepang.

Before reaching MY it had routed to few countries and cities.

I have email the official post sales department, still awaiting their reply on what should I do.

My laptop is now in Shah Alam already(according to the tracker), I foresee it will deliver to me within this week, if they proceed to deliver to me.

Should I reject to collecting from the courier if there is obvious damage on the box?

How do you all handle situation like this?

Sell with Tenant or Without Tenant

Hi guys, I have a unit (condo) now with tenant, am thinking to sell my unit as I'm residing in Singapore now, getting married this year and have other plans.

I have some queries of selling the property.
All the sifus and agents please help me.
Should I sell the unit with tenant (renew 1 year lease) or without tenant?

Is there any drawback if I sell the unit with tenant? So far the tenant (2 persons only) staying few years without giving me any problems, company rented the house for the staff. The boss is very friendly and easy going.

I have approached an agent to sell my unit, my aunty who staying 2 floors above my unit also said she has a friend (or herself I have no idea haven't got chance to talk to her yet, got the info from my mum) wanted to buy my unit.

Asking price: RM500k(nego a bit), freehold, 1.2k sf, 1 car park, partially renovated, balcony, high floor, klcc and kl tower view, pool view, gym, basketball court, tenanted. ~10 mins to reach Berjaya Time Square, can avoid all the jam and not paying any toll, just learnt the new route where my brother discover it recently. Normally takes 25 t0 35 mins to reach there because KL mah, peanut butter JAM loh.

Mthly Rental: About RM1500
Maintenance fees per month + sinking fund: Less than RM200
Condo is aged but good thing is 100% occupancy compare to many new condos development which has very less occupancy despite after so many years. Another good thing of the condo is low density, 288 units only, and the neighborhood is harmony and peaceful.
Many of my relatives(aunties and uncles, cousins) and my family are also staying here.

I'm still unable to buy a flat in Singapore yet, not until 3 years later or until the gawmen changed the law, should I just keep the unit or sell it now? I know is not a good timing to sell now, everyone telling me about this, but... sometimes we need to move on.

p/s: According to fengshui master hired by my superstitious aunties and uncles, my block (and theirs are same block, here we are talking about block not unit) has great fortune luck for the next 15 years. They paid money to hire the reputable fengshui master to check out their house yearly.

Moderator, do note that this is not an advertisement, I am asking should I sell with tenant or without tenant, or keep the unit.

1Sentul just opposite block but the rental is way higher and size is smaller at least 100 square feet. But they are newer block. So, do your math.

Deployed a website, but images not showing in IE8

Hi all,

Has anyone encounter this situation before, I've deployed a website with image upload feature, has no problems to view all the images on the website but not IE8. Is the browser setting problems or anything related to the web server side? I've check the image src link should not causing any problems.

Hi guys,

I'm considering upgrade my pc, two main parts I want to upgrade are RAM and Graphic Card.

The spec the DELL Dimension E520: 1 gig ram (not enough for now T.T), graphic card NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300 LE, PentiumD 3.4g

I want to ask, should I upgrade it? I just bought it not long ago, about 2 yrs.

I do play games like dota, cs... and do some images editing uses photoshop.. which graphic card is suitable for me?

Or just use back the 7300 is more than enough?

Before buying the ram and graphic card, what should i aware of? regarding the ram -> ddr2,ddr3,ddr4 ... how to check?

I have very little knowledge on hardware... >.<

If can, what should I do? I see there are many applications installed in the system like DELL support, DELL network assistant, and so on. Where can I install those apps?

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech 600E

Firewall used: McAfee

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Problem setting up a LAN network
Problem frequency:
Problem description: I have two rigs at home now, I'm not sure if I can use a crossover ethernet cable link up two of the rigs and connect both of them to the internet. My modem only have a port, which I use that to put in a cable, a phone line and a power supply. I want to ask how do I connect both pc with a crossover cable? Sorry If you don't understand what I'm saying, because I also don't understand what I'm taling now.
