I need some legal advice here. My brother borrowed a personal loan from a bank, totaling around RM30k to RM40k. He has been missing for a very long time, over a year now. The bank has sent multiple reminder letters, and finally a warning letter to my house, as my brother's IC is registered at my dad's house.

A collection agent has come to my house multiple times, but I just told them that I don't know where my brother is. The bank has also called many of my family members to ask about the loan issue. This has been causing us trouble and is similar to harassment from loan sharks.

Today, I received a call from them, stating that an officer will come to my house and take all valuable assets other than wearable items and food. I asked them if they have the legal right to do so. The house is under my dad's name, and all the things inside the house do not belong to the borrower. They claimed that they have the legal right to do it and even read out a section of the law. However, I can't remember what they said because I was very anxious at that time.

Is it true that the bank can take all the assets in my dad's house just because my brother's address is registered at my dad's house?

unifi tv box connect via wifi

i have one white box version unifi tv box, previously connected to LAN port 4 (normally for iptv port) without any problem. But now the LAN cable is broken above the ceiling, maybe get bitten by rats, so i connect using the wifi 2.4g but cannot view any content, the screen is black, i reconnect using lan cable again it work fine.

any sifu here know whats the cause? or memang cannot stream using wifi?
