Canon 40D + EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS + EF 17-40L

Hi Guys,
I interested in the 40D and one of the lenses listed above.

I wonder what is the latest price in KL?

The price I got from one shop I went to:
(1) 40D = approx 3800-3900
(2) 17-55 2.8 = 3850
(3) 17-40L = 2490

Can anyone with the recent price post here please?

Q9450 Core Temperature

Hi Guys,
I bought my Q9450 yesterday together with P5Q-Deluxe and Zalman CNPS9500LED.

What worries me after the installation (stock speed with no OC) is that RealTemp 2.60 shows core temperature at:
(1) 56C
(2) 56C
(3) 42C
(4) 42C

Under stress from Prime95, the core temp will shoot up to:
(1) 70C
(2) 70C
(3) 62C
(4) 62C

By the way, the BIOS reports that the CPU Temp is at about 49C-52C (even after stressing and reboot).

My questions are:
(1) How come the temperature is so far apart for Core 1,2 and 3,4?
(2) Where can I buy Arctic Cooling Remover, Purifier and MX-2 at Lowyat?
(3) How much of thermal paste should I use on the CPU surface?

Asus P5E and Zalman CNPS8700LED

Hi Guys,
I am planning to get the Asus P5E mobo to go with my Q9450 (when I can get one .

However, I understand that the space around the processor socket is a bit tight (due to the surrounding heatsink).

I have googled a bit, but could not get a definitive answer about whether the Zalman CNPS8700LED HSF can fit that area.

Anyone is using Asus P5E and what HSF are you using (without mod)?
