hope I am posting in the right section.

A friend of mine is a partner is a partnership with his brother (50% equity each). they have bought various properties under the partnership.

recently this friend of mine is having problems with his credit cards,personal loans etc and he might not be able to pay them anymore.

his concern is this :-

will the bank force the partnership to sell off their properties to just to pay back his loans/debts since he's one of the owners.

or will they sue him bankrupt but leave the partnership's properties intact

Unable to Create Folder

Just realised I am unable to write to both my external hard disks.

Error message : Unable to create the folder 'ABC'. The media is write protected.

Any idea what's going on? Rebooted my PC several times. Problem still persists.

Since Windows XP SP2, you can disable writing to USB devices altogether using a simple registry hack. Here it is:

1. Click Start, type Regedit.exe and press {ENTER}
2. Navigate to the following location : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
3. Double-click WriteProtect, If you see the DWORD value set to 1, change it to 0.

Once you modified the registry, you will have to reboot for the changes to take effect. One should also note that if you are using this trick, you should make sure that the users are not administrators on the computer, because they could easily change this setting back.

Assuming a person is currently working in a MNC.
At the same time,he's also being paid monthly salary by a family business with his position as a CEO or CTO.

Does this mean he will have two different sets of Borang EA and his deductions in EPF will come from two sources?

When they stopped touching their KUACIs, I decided to give them the Habitrail Hamster & Gerbil Staple food...

Same thing, both of them are not interested at all.

They look OK to me, jumping around & fighting with each other.

IP Address Query

All the PCs in my company's network seems to point to a similar IP (Based on whatismyip.com)

Because of this, my downloads from file-sharing sites (Rapidshare / Filefactory) are restricted.

Is there a way for me to alter / modify the IP address like how we restart the modem each time after downloading from Streamyx at home?
