hello ya'll this is for those owning the new Presario V3010AU notebooks which is a steal because of its nice hardware setup n even nicer price.

But unfortunately...this notebook of mine always crash laa..dunno why..
anyone else got same problem?

Usually it crash while im working on using After Effects, Vegas (vdo editing tool)
or Illustrator... even sometime while playing Winamp it crash with no reason whatsoever...
yea im a multimedia student,,so i run alot of these memory-intensive programs..
but the weird thing is it never crash while im rendering.. u know after we done editing or doing 3d model, we need to render it so it become a "full high quality image"..tat takes alot of memory and processing power combined. but wait...no crashes!...atleast no yet laa..please dont!..

but there's also one occasion while im presenting my work, i play a small wmv video from a thumdrive and it just crashed!...dunno why laa.
iv top-up the memory to 1Gig, but in system properties shows only 960Mb
aaii...why it steals my memory?...is it the cause of all this sudden crashes?

anyone with similar probs?...can u guys pose any answer or in what condition ur using the notebook that make it crash, so we can pin-point the problem to its source?

thanks... appreciate u guys help..
WiFi Network topology, security, config

Hello..im new here.. so i dont know where to actually post this message..the problem is regarding to my Presario V3010AU and its network connections problem. I know there's a thread of fans of the presario..so tats why i post here, hopefuly anyone with similar probs can help me..

Iv just bought the presario v3010AU and a SMC wireless router.. ok so i setup to my old pc with it.. basicly i got internet connection for both pc and laptop.. but when i setup for home / small office network, they can't access each others file even do both pc n laptop sees each others..

the way i setup is using the > this computer connects to the internet throught another computer on my network or through a residential gateway.... yea got internet...but no file sharing

theres also another option which i think more logical which is this computer connects directly thru a hub. other computers also connects through the hub.. but then windows warn me that this type of connection is not safe coz it'l be easy for attacks from outside to gain access to my pc / laptop thru the internet connections...

i've tried setting individual IPs for both laptop n pc..but then...cannot set up internet..the best thing when i did this..the pc can access laptop..but laptop cant access pc...owh my....

so pleaseee..guys help me!..really dunno what to do... cn anyone with the mentioned presario help me??...thankx
