CISS ?

I am planning to buy a new printer and i heard about the CISS thing.

Talked to a lady selling superjet ink and she showed us some samples, looked quite okay.

She said she can sell the canon printer with the ink already installed, good deal?

Any recommendations?

1. How is the CISS system? Any problems?
2. Which ink brand better? Superjet or ESY Ink?
3. Any tips ??

Hey, i am wondering is it possible to use a laptop connected to the internet , to give internet to another laptop via wifi or bluetooth or whatever?

If lets say my laptop is using those maxis or digi usb modems to connect, i have another laptop nearby, can i do anything to share internet?

These days, Puchong seems to be an up and coming neighbourhood

We got our own Megamall (sorta) IoI Mall , Tesco, etc.

Even Bandar Puteri pretty much got alot of shops that are restaurants, dunno which one nice also

There is this good chicken rice shop called BBQ Soon Heng. Now open at Jalan Kenari also now open near Tesco and Bandar Puteri that side.

help to repartition

I recently bought a new laptop that came with FreeDOS and i finished installing Ubuntu Linux.

Problem is, i noticed that the laptop's harddisk was formatted to only have 1 partition.

Since i have already installed linux, is there a way to repartition the hard disk ?

Should i repartition it or just leave the hard disk as a full 320gb partition?

I need a laptop for lugging around to do my work and surf the internet when I am out of the house. I don't really need a laptop that is really powerful because i already have a good desktop computer at home. Plus also I want to use Ubuntu Linux on this laptop.

I was thinking of 3 laptops

COMPAQ CQ42-188TX Core i3 2.13ghz, 2gb, 320gb harddisk ATI HD5430 512mb that also comes with FREEDOS, RM2099

OR

COMPAQ CQ41-208AU AMD Turion X2 2.3ghz, 2gb ram, 320gb hd, ATI HD4200 256mb that is also FREEDOS RM1599

OR

COMPAQ CQ41-217AU AMD Athlon X2 2.1ghz, 2gb ram, 320gb hd, ATI HD4200 256mb also FREEDOS RM1799

Right now im leaning towards the RM1599 one, but im wondering is it worth it to add RM500 to get a core i3 and also a better graphic card. Will prices of these laptops drop??

Btw, i want to ask also, how do i remove FREEDOS and replace it with ubuntu linux??

Any other suggestions of laptops are totally welcome

TMNET Throttling Youtube?

Hey guys i think tmnet is lowering our youtube streamyx speeds after 11 am.

I just tested it, im on 1mbit package, before 11 this morning i got full speed around 120kb/s
then after 11, i loaded other videos, and my cfosspeed is showing only 20kb/s

anyone having this problem?? I was thinking of complaining to MCSC

Buying Multi effect pedal

Hey guys

I am tearing my head apart trying to find a good and worth multi effect pedal,
I narrowed my choices down to:

KORG AX1500G (Trusted brand, Excellent review on Harmony Central, lacks USB connection)
Line6 Floor POD (Less presets compared to KORG, lacks USB connection)
Digitech RP250 ( Abit expensive in my opinion, not sure of sound, has USB connection, got drum machine)
Digitech RP350 ( Not very sure about this yet)
BOSS ME20 (Lacks quite alot of things, still new (RM800+))
Zoom G2.1u (Cheap!! , not sure of sound compared to the rest, got USB connection)

btw, my budget is around RM800
Plz dont recommend other things very above that.
And also i wouldnt consider buying single effect pedals, cause my parents cant afford em.

I will use this more as a practise thing, but i would still like to have value for money.

I am looking for a multi effects pedal and i came across the zoom g2.1u pedal at Chambers of Music
and also i read a post about the RP250

so i was wondering which one would be a better choice

I am not a rock player......more to the pop and blues kind of thing.....christian songs too

I dont really have a budget but i was hoping it to be around RM600

And can somebody tell me a shop that sells the RP250?

suggestions for other multi effect pedals are welcome

Hey guys

I am looking for effect pedals and i found the Zoom Corp G2.1 and BOSS ME20 at chambers of music.

I am wondering which one is the best for me.

I dont do live gigs and i don't need a very high tech pedal.

The price chambers offered was RM500+ for the Zoom and Rm800+ for the Boss
btw, i don't really have a budget but i prefer it to be cheap

So i'm wondering whether the Zoom is more worth it. I read some great reviews on Ultimate guitar.com and harmony central.com about the Zoom pedal

File sharing network problem!

Help me guys!

Im using Streamyx RM66 line. (not sure how fast)

and im using a TP link router

Sharing with 3 computers (including mine)

my network has been working fine for the past 3 years.......but now.... for some reason i cant share my files in ShareDocs ( i cant share any file) with the other computers on the network.

The other computers also cant connect to me.

The other day i tried Network ID then after that i restart and ok already

then the next day cannot again.

I used the troubleshooter, the first time they say i was using a name which is already on the network (which i dont think is true), after the Network ID thing, they say the same reason. So anyone can help me???

And by the way, it happened i think after i installed Kaspersky Anti Virus

And also, my dad used cmd to talk to the other computers, he say they can communicate.......so wats the problem?

I have been playing for about 3 years and im wanting to upgrade my guitar (im still not very seasoned player yet) .

At first i was thinking about buying an acoustic with a plugin but now i am looking at a electric guitar.

Fender Squire Stratocaster. - RM550

Roland Micro cube.- RM400

so for about RM950 do you think i should buy it?

Also does anyone know where to buy a good and cheap hardcase bag for electric?

and does anyone have the phone number of Yamaha in IOI mall?

how to cool hard disk?

hi

i was monitoring my hard disk temperature using HD Tune and suddenly.....i saw my new WD 250gb 16mb Sata 2 disk at 54 C........i was wondering how could i cool it?

any suggestions....besides using those cooler master boxes?

by the way.......my 250gb hard disk is below my old 80gb hard disk......should i move it one slot lower? since i have a space? so that the heat doesnt collect there?
