Extracurricular activities during a-levels

I am just wondering is it important to be involved in a lot (or maybe some) of extracurricular activities during the a-levels in order to get into a good uni overseas?

I held quite many positions in my secondary school. (librarian, club president, peer counselor and so on). I heard that they count the activities you have taken part in the past 7 academic years? So, if i don't do anything during my college period, i can still include in my achievements in secondary school?

I'm planning to do either medicine/dentistry which are both very competitive courses.

Will it enhance my CV somehow?

Do they really actually care how much you do besides studies or just the academic part is taken into account?

Thanks

Degree in economics, master in law

Hello. I am currently an A-Levels student. The subjects I'm taking are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics.

Due to the subjects combination offered in my college, I was not able to study Law for my A-Levels as I'm taking Chemistry.

I would like to study Economics and Law in the future. But I'm not sure which one should i major and master in.

A degree in Economics, and a master in law or a degree in Law and a master in Economics. Which one is more preferable and has a better job prospective?

Thank you very much.

Sunway college

I've searched this forum about Sunway college and everything I got is about rich kids, parties and show off kids. It makes no difference when I ask other people about their impression of this college:

'Aiyor, there where got people study one!'

'If you want to meet rich fellows then go there lah'

'Party day and night!!!'

Are they true?? I am planning to study my A levels there but i am quite taken back by their reaction. First of all, I'm nothing like what they've described, party-kaki or rich show off kids. I'm quite a nerd and studies is my top priority.

So, will i survive there? (just kidding) Is the school really as bad as what they said?

Thanks for taking your time to answer me.

A Level's march intake

Let's say if my trial results is reeeeally bad and i cant use it to apply for college. Hence, I have no choice but to wait for my real SPM results. So, my question is, is the March intake of A levels in most colleges is before or after spm results coming out? If it's the former one, does that mean that i can only opt for the June/July intake? Thanks.

By the way, I heard that ATC Kemayan has April/May intake. Is it true????

Hate chemistry! Can i still take engineering?

I love physics very much, from its theory to its math and almost everything about physics! (well, maybe not the electricity part). But i seriously hate chemistry!! All the chemical equations and such drive me mad (and maybe it's because of my school's lousy chemistry lab and teacher too, but that's a different story). The thing is, i'm thinking of taking a mechanical engineering degree and not to take chemistry for A levels. Is it doable? I mean, is chemistry a prerequisite for mechanical engineering?

Oh by the way, do i need to study stuffs like electricity, electronics thingy majingy for mechanical engineering? If it's a yes, im guessing i have to change my plans again. X___X

Questions about study loan

I just wanna know is there any 'REAL' study loan for studying overseas?

'REAL' study loan as in something that doesnt need a bloody rich co-borrower and only pay them back after graduation?

I've encountered some study loans which need to have houses or cars etc for guarantee. Heck, if i was that rich, i wouldnt need to apply for a study loan!!
