My laptop's OS is ubuntu. And i want to see how many web application pages shall look on Internet explorer as some clients use IE only. Is there any way to do so? Any way to install IE on ubuntu?

IE4linux doesn't seem to work.

I had a old dell cpu and a new lg flatron monitor.They worked fine.

Today bought a new dell computer with monitor and trying to use it with my old lg monitor.

When i conect vga to vga..nothing happens.nothing appears on monitor.

When i conect vga(monitor side) to dvi(cpu side) it works fine.But its blur. *converter used,vga to dvi

Why is the first not working and the second way blur?Can anyone help me out?

There is this old hardly used Dell PC at home.

It's main specs are:Intel[R] Pentium[R] 4 CPU 2.66Ghz 256MB RAM 80GB hardDisk.

Want to upgrade it to make it faster.What can i change?

if i put 1gb ram will the computer still work?

My 6year old dell desktop pc cant' start.I keep pressing power on button and nothing happens !!!

What to do?What are the likely reasons?looks more of a power problem.

car lower arm

my viva'a car...recently banged a road divider.

The tyre got punctured and the lower arm seems bent.

Wanted to ask if the lower arm can be straightened? or is it necesary to replace it?

I got an option to select 2 computer.Both the pc's the price is same at RM 2,199.But the 3 main spec's are stated below.

Option A
1.8GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
2GB (2X1GB) NECC Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz SDRAM Memory
17 Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor

Option B
2.4GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
1GB (512X2MB) NECC Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz SDRAM Memory
19 Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor

So which option you think I should select.One is with smaller procesor,biger RAM.Other is biger procesor,smaller RAM.

The pc' will be used in a small office.Do sugest your views.

The sales consultant tells me the price for it is around RM2000.

I would like to know if the price is appopriate.. or is it simply over priced.

canon battery problem

Hi,
I have purchased a canon power-shot camera.It makes use of 2 AA battery.

The problem is that the battery gets drained out very fast.And i frequently need to purchase new batteries.

Are there any suggestion/recommendations as to how to overcome the problem?

Or anyone else using powershot canon camera here?What you do for your battery.
