Posting here to ask for laptop recommendation as the mobile computing section is kinda dead. Can anyone recommend me light and portable laptop with great processor range from 4-4.5k?

Usage: Microsoft stuff, Autocad, internet surfing.
Screen: 14-15 inch
Ram: minimum 16gb
Good battery life.

Im in no rush to buy a laptop. I was just wondering whether the AMD 7840U with RX780M will be released in Malaysia soon as I have seen review of it in a Acer Swift Edge 16, it was quite nice tho but so far I havent seen it released in Malaysia...

I received a SMS regarding transaction from METAPAY*ADS of RM5.00 charge on my debit card from Public Bank, I quickly checked my PBe and showed no transcation and deduction at all, should I be worried and call the bank to cancel my debit card?

Edit: I only used it to store my multimedia stuffs which I probably gonna used it occasionally. Is a proper external SSD better than internal SSD with a casing?

Why do IPTA has such long period of semester break

Hi , I am a diploma student in an IPTA and I wonder do all the IPTAs have such a long period of semester break for 1 month? That's is long compared to the IPTS! In my uni, there is even long sem break for 2 months which i think is unacceptable..... My friends from IPTS only have 3 weeks of sem break which I think is enough too.

I think it's a waste of time for such a long sem break and my friends are graduating but I'm still studying. Correct me if I am wrong and please enlighten me. Thanks!

Have you ever think of what your future be like? As a university student now stuck at home in this situation , I really don't know what to do now and I think it is meaningless and time-wasting to stay at home until probably next year to go back to university. I think my life is useless and hopeless by doing nothing , I always wanted to do something but I just don't have the passion and motivation to do it. Seeing my friend doing online selling product earning some money , it makes me feel like I only know how to eat sleep play at home. I always told myself I need to improve but I don't know where to start.

I have been thinking to do YouTube content at least I know some editing skill, but I scared I would be teased by my friend or relatives.

Also for any student out there , what and how do you spend your time during this situation?

Hey guys, I am currently doing diploma in electrical engineering in University Malaysia Perlis and I wonder if I could study abroad to continue my degree overseas? I would like to know if the university outside Malaysia will allow me to continue degree with the diploma offered by my university, or could you advise me something else? Thank you very much!

Screen suddenly goes black but fan still working

Recently my laptop will suddenly goes black but the keyboard light and fan are still working. I will just restart it by pressing the power button and turn it on and it return to normal. However, it then goes black again after awhile, what is the problem to it ? Perhaps it's the screen or software or worst still it's the motherboard problem?

Would like to ask if I am eligible for any scholarship such as JPA, Sime Darby Yayasan or any other scholarship as well ? As I know those requirements are pretty high especially it require no A- . So can I at least try my luck to apply for some of the scholarships ? Thank you very much

Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering

SPM results is coming out really really soon. So now I am in a dilemma whether to choose EE or Mecha since my hometown( not so developed) is developing rapidly and might need more electrical engineer . But lets look forward where the world is going as everything will be in robots doing all the works so it is better to pursue Mechatronics Engineering ? I have also visited a few education fairs and some of them recommend me to pursue Mechatronics Engineering.

As a result, I am really frustrated to study which of these two courses. Please do give me opinions.

Hi , my 2018 Myvi Advance have a problem with long beeping sound when locking the car with the remote control. The key works fine when starting the car just when I want to lock the car. Is it I have to send it to service centre to reset the key?
