Pathway right after Cambridge GCE A-Levels

Hello everyone!

I've been in a dilemma for the past few months on deciding what to choose, or major in after A-levels. Right now I'm currently doing A-levels and will complete it during June 2014. Before my A-levels, I did SPM, got 8A+, 1A (BM). Right now, I'm taking Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths.

I'm not sure what I want to do in the future but I've thought of going over to the US, UK, Singapore, or Australia. Language is not my cup of tea. I don't really like Chemistry as parts of it don't make sense to me. Over the past 2 years, I've started to learn programming on my own, and I sort of loved it, its more of like logic and maths. It doesn't require you to memorise too much, as long as it makes sense. I like dealing with paperworks, not the hands on stuff, as in the "Engineering" type, so Engineering isn't my choice.

I've actually considered stuff like:

i) computer related stuff, such as Computer Science or perhaps Networking; I don't know why, it just comes naturally without having to memorise, as in just practice.
ii) Accountancy, Business and Finance (Although I'm not exposed to any of the accountancy, business and finance world yet). Its just seemed fun dealing with money, as well as being a Chartered Accountant;
iii) Actuarial Science - Many of them said its difficult to pass, so its like a disadvantage for me to choose this;
iv) A double degree - Mathematics and Computer Science

I'm unsure of which course am I actually suited or I should choose. Is there anyone out there who could give me some suggestions on which path should I take? I'm looking for a course which could lead you to a career which have quite decent salary, RM 10,000 / month after about 5 years working experience, which increases up to about RM 50,000 after about 20 years working experience? Is there any suggestions on other courses which could fetch that pay? Also, I plan to pursue tertiary education towards masters and then PhD after my degree.

Also, is it recommended to take a gap year right after A-levels? The purpose of this gap year is to take part in extra activities such as volunteering as well as some internship perhaps, which could increase the chance of applying into universities. Right now, it is a little too rush, to complete personal statements and submit by the end of this year. Plus, I plan to take SAT I at the end of December since many universities requires them. Already taken SAT II (Maths II, Phy, Chem, 800/740/730).

Thank you for spending some time to read and help me about it.
