VU Or Lancaster-Sunway At Sunway Uni

Hi LYN forumers,

I am intending to pursue bachelor`s in supply chain mgmt in Sunway Uni.

Unsure on whether to enrol for the VU or Lancaster-Sunway, no intention on transferring overseas.

1) VU:

- I can do a combination of supply chain major, with Int Business as my minor.

- Read across previous reviews/opinions on LYN, which were mostly bad, saying that there are lots of Indon students and also students who drop out from entering the Lancaster-Sunway and Monash program who are lazy and laidback that indirectly affects the whole coursework marks (considering most of the assessment is assignment based; 50-50). How true is this & is this still applicable now?

2) Lancaster Uni-Sunway:

- Can only do single major

- Read across previous reviews/opinions on LYN, mostly positive comments, saying that it is tough and challenging (due to higher % on exams than assignments). How true is this & is this still applicable now?

- In comparison to VU, I understand that Lancaster`s program in Sunway is just "validated", unlike that from VU.

Would appreciate thoughts/opinions asap as I really need to decide & make the right decision before next week when semester commences.

These two sides have not faced each other for almost 10 years, when Portugal knocked England out of the 2006 World Cup on penalties at the quarter-final stage - a match best remembered for Rooney's red card and Ronaldo's subsequent wink to the bench.

The 120 minutes ended goalless in that game - the fourth successive draw between these two sides - and England have only won one of their last 11 meetings with Portugal, with eight of those ending all square and the most recent two seeing England beaten on penalties.

It is a far cry from England's eight wins in the first 11 meetings between the nations, although the Three Lions are unbeaten in their last nine friendlies against Portugal (D5 L4).

Portugal have made seven previous trips to face England at Wembley, scoring only three times and last finding the back of the net in 1995.

Ronaldo will be missing for the second Portugal friendly in a row after being given extra time off following the Champions League final, while club teammate Pepe has also been granted some additional rest.

Former Manchester United winger Nani could be handed a start in Ronaldo's absence, while in defence Southampton duo Cedric Soares and Jose Fonte should continue, alongside former Chelsea man Ricardo Carvalho

William Carvalho is likely to be in holding midfield should Santos opt to name a strong side, while new Bayern Munich signing Sanches will be hopeful of getting a chance from the start.

England, meanwhile, are likely to name their first-choice starting XI as Hodgson looks to give them time to gel before travelling to France, which could mean returns for Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane.

I`ll like to ask all of you for your advice and thoughts on which Uni (Sunway/Inti) is better when it comes to their business courses offered.
I`ve decided to pursue a dual major which is Finance And Economics but I`m unsure which Uni is better to continue my degree. If any of you had experience before studying in Sunway/Inti based on factors like (lecturers, assignments or etc) ,do feel free to share ya.

Hi fellow Lowyat forumer`s, I`ve got doubts here to ask all of you. But first, do read my story first...

So, basically I kinda found out this girl on What`s App; since we`re in the same extra- curricular society. Actually, I had to pull up the courage to text her. This is due to the fact that I`ve had totally no experience having chat with girls; for past experience, I got try and chat mostly through social media with random girls before last time. However, it was all in vain; supposing to gain experience as time goes.

Now, I`ve chatted with her for a week already. Tried to ask her out, then ask her what she likes to eat, she says 'anything as long it`s cheap'. But I think to myself, should I bring her out somewhere else; not just ordinary kopitiam or what? What will she think about me? Will our friendship last?

Besides, I`m also clueless on what to say (as of conversation topics) when we meet up, it`s the first time some more we`re hooking up and never met each other before.
