How do I actually reverse it to have the output of "abcde 56789 12345"?

Hi folks,

I'm haviing a php code that utilizes the exec function to run a batch file and it looks something like this

exec("cmd.exe /c start_GDD.bat");

I notice that the page stays in a refreshing mode until I end the program that it started. I want for the page to come out of refresh mode and move on to another page that would probably say everything "Downloading in progress".

Is exec the right function to be used?

Hello Folks,

I have a question about here. I am trying to achieve the following.

I have a <select> list with 4 options, A B C and D. Lets call it List1. I have a second, List2, where it has also A, B, C and D.

Now if the user chooses A from List1, the selection/list in List2 will only contain B,C and D.
If the user chooses B from List 1, the selection / list in List 2 only contains C and D.

I read through some javascript websites where there is this feature called onselect. Can anyone of you guide me if need to use javascript as I am very new to it?

Let say I have "abc.txt" file that contains as something as below. (This is not array and the txt file really contains such format)

a: 1
b: 2
c: 3

a: 4
b: 5
c: 6

a: 7
b: 8
c: 9

How do I print the value of search and print the value of a? Which PHP function that I should use? Can PHP filter what characters I want to search from the file and print it?
