WAN problem ( the "earth" symbol on DIR 615)

the "earth" symbol or WAN or whatever its name turned to orange light. it happened on friday last week while i was playing some dota 2 and it so sudden. i'm pretty sure i didnt touch anything. i'm able to connect wireless but it says no internet access. any manual solution or i just have to call tmnet?

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the right section to ask this question. If it's wrong please move this post to the right section

OK now here's the problem. I was playing around on Dlink admin page. I clicked on wireless network setup wizard and click2 until 1 page came out and said "bla3 success and restarting" and suddenly I lost my connection. I've tried to reconnect to my router and it keeps failing. I also tried connecting router with my android and same result occur. How to revert/reset the settings I've done?

P/s: I'm using wireless adapter.
P/s again: I've tried clicked on "reset' button behind the router and still get the same result.

Hello lyns!

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this kind of question.

So the problem is I was gonna change something on my wireless connection stuff. And I accidently clicked the "disable" option instead of properties. And right now I can't even open any wireless connection. How to revert the setting back guys?

Help on building gaming rig

Currently helping a friend build his first gaming rig. He probably will go for OC build. Since I have no knowledge in OC world I had to ask you sifus2 here to help him to achieve his dream( )

So yeah.. everything is new. No old components will be reused.

Help with Steam and Windows

Hi guys,

Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. Alright, so I opened my Steam and got several updates (one of them is dota 2). But, whenever I opened Steam, my Windows suddenly become slow, my browser keeps being "not responding". I tried to end steam process through the task manager, unfortunately, EVEN the task manager became not responding. I had to restart my pc and it worked well. And again, when I opened Steam, and it HAPPENS again. Why is that?

Hello LYN,

So today my friend and I went to a pc shop because he wanted survey himself a new Gaming rig. So when we got there, asked this and that, and the tauke came and asked what purpose of building the rig. So he said he want to build a Full gaming rig mostly can play battlefield 4 ultra setting with at least 60 fps bla bla yada yada. The tauke asked him if he bring or remember the parts he wanted to build. After he gave the tauke all the parts list, the tauke changed A LOT of things.

Without further due here is the spec he wants ;

CPU : Intel Core i5-4440
MOBO : Asrock B85m Pro 4
PSU : Seasonic S Bronze 620 Watts
RAM : 8GB value ram
HDD : 1 TB
GPU : Sapphire r9 280x Vapor-x
Casing : Aerocool X-Predator X1

And here is the tauke suggested build;

CPU : AMD FX - 8320
MOBO : ECS A970M-A DELUXE
PSU : GIGABYTE 80+ 570 Watts
RAM : 8GB value ram
HDD : 1 TB
GPU : GIGABYTE R9 270X OC
Casing : Lian Li (Aluminium case?).

Do note that my friend and me are complete "stupid" when it comes to AMD stuffs. So all sifus2 please help my friend cuz he's very2 confuse right now

Hi guys! Currently building my own gaming rig. Specs below;

Intel i5 4570 or with "K"
(haven't decide which MoBO should I get for better gaming EXP)
(can't decide whether I should go for gtx 760 or r9 280x)
WD Blue 1TB
Corsair 8gb ram
(not sure which PSU should I get)
NZXT Phantom 410

So this list is still incomplete. That's why I need your help guys . I've done so many research on GTX 760 and R9 280x and still can't decide which one should I take to maximize my gaming experience. As for MoBo and PSU, I really have no idea which one should I take. I don't think I will overclock for now or should I just get CPU without "K' instead? so confuse lor .

So yeah guys, all your help will be appreciated!!

P/s: my friend just got his new rig so i feel very jealous right now

I wanna build a decent gaming rig which can play BF4, Planetside2 or other new 2013 games at high graphic. I've already asked my friend and he gave me this spec;

CPU - Intel Core i3-4130 @ 3.40GHz
RAM - Kingston 4GB 1600Mhz CL11
ROM - Samsung DVD/RW 24x
HDD - Western Digital 1TB Blue 64mb cache
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H Motherboard
GPU - Leadtek GTX650 Ti Boost 2GB GDDR5 128bit
PSU - Corsair VS550w
CASE - Any Medium Tower Chasis will do

This was when my budget was at rm 2k below. But now that I have extra budget, I want to upgrade some of this spec. But I'm new to PC stuffs . My budget now is at rm 2.5k. So, what kind of gaming rig can I get at rm 2.5k? All your helps are appreaciated .
