Celcom plans: Buying outright + unlimited

New to Blackberry services (don't own one yet though) and I want to check on the difference between the following two scenarios for the Blackberry 8520:

Scenario A
Taking the following Celcom Exec 50 plan:

I pay RM788 upfront and RM118 for 12 months to get 12 months unlimited data package.
Total after 12 months would be RM2204.

Scenario B
Taking the following plan:

Advanced Plan
Monthly Access Fee:
RM98
Unlimited Data Access

And buying the phone from one of the sellers here @ approximately RM1200.
Total after 12 months would be RM2376.

Is there anything else different apart from the price?
Because I find it strange that it's cheaper to buy directly from Celcom.

I always thought it'd be more expensive to get the phone from the telcos.
Am I missing something?

If it makes any difference, I'm currently on the Celcom Exec 50 plan and don't intend to register another line.

5.1 Home Theatre + AVR

Hihi,

I'm a total noob when it comes to AV equipment so need some advice from all the gurus here
Need some recommendations on starter 5.1 home (room) theatre set up.

Points to consider:
Main usage:
1. Blu-rays (most important aspect)
a. Action movies with lots of car chases/ gunfights/ swordfights/ explosions
b. Concerts with vocals such as Mariah Carey/ Il Divo/ Andrea Bocelli
c. Concerts such as Beyonce/ Jay Chou/ John Mayer

2. PS3
a. Games: football, FPS, RPG
b. Occasional MP3s: 192kbps - 320kbps versions of all sorts of crap from vocal to pop to rock to RnB

3. Downloaded TV series via Sarotech abigs DVP-370S (lazy to keep putting stuff into PS3 in case some of you think PS3 output quality is better)
a. Don't expect much from this since quality of downloaded stuff is crappy for the most part. This section got picture and sound enough (unless someone can point me in the right direction to download good quality stuff...via PM of course )

4. DVD player
a. Occasional crappy DVD for new movies to test whether I should get Blu-ray version

5. Absolutely no Astro (I think this point applies more when I consider TV, but just thought I'd put it in anyway)

Room size:

Green line (from wall behind TV to back of bed) approximately 11.5ft.
Red line (from door to the curtain) approximately 14ft.
Measurements don't take into the account the little corner at the top right where my computer is - hope this little nook won't ruin my surround experience

Due to space constraints, floorstanders are a nono.

Seating area: back of the bed, back against the bedhead.

Most important part - BUDGET:
Approximately RM5k to RM6k - this includes speakers, subwoofer, and AV receiver

1. KEF2005 (can't remember if its 2005.2 or 2005.3 that I saw at Tong Lee)
2. Mission M-cube
3. AE Aego T (currently using Aego M and I really like it so this one should be good)

Shortlisted AVRs
1. Yamaha RX-V663

3. Marantz SR4002
4. Onkyo TX-SR606

Shortlisted just means those brands that I've seen when reading about this stuff.
If you can recommend something better, please do.
