Hifiman Ananda Stealth (2022) Vs. Edition XS

Hi folks,

Thanks for your time dropping in here. First of all i’m quite new to the hobby but i love listening to music. I'm currently using Sennheiser HD560S and KZ PR1 Pro (IEM), my audio preference leans more towards pop/electrical music/classical which emphasizes on the instruments. I usually uses my ibasso DX160 + Tidal for music.

I've read many reviews online saying that both headphones are pretty similar, with Ananda having better tonal accuracy/detail and comfort while the Edition XS has more accurate bass and warmer mids & highs.

I've personally tested my friend's Ananda stealth and loved it very much, soundstage, details & tuning of that headphone is just mind-blowing for its price tag of RM2.2k, so I'm thinking of getting one for myself. However, I've also seen many people comparing the Ananda stealth to Edition XS very often as both are very similarly tuned and is in the same price range, with the XS being slightly cheaper.

I already own a HD560s and enjoyed listening to it a lot, but I'm looking to upgrade to something better and narrowed down to these 2 HiFiMan headphones.

Just wanted to ask LYN fellow audiophiles here, which one of these headphones would you think is a better choice?

Car engine head/block overhaul - engine overheat

Hi all sifus, need advice for my car AC. Car is Toyota Vios manufactured year 2016.

When i start the car engine, the AC is initially cool (functions normally). But after driving for about 15-20 minute, the AC only blow air & the interior of the car becomes very stuffy (bad air circulation?).

The thermostat light on my dashboard also shows red after i've drove the car for long distance (about 150 KM+) with the AC on.

I've sent my car to Toyota SC once, they said it's due to faulty thermostat. Charged me nearly RM300 to replace the thermostat and took 5 days (Their reasoning is they couldn't get the radiator fan to work after changing the thermostat).

The AC was working normally again and my engine doesn't overheat for the first week. But after driving long distance again (about 270KM), the same problem is back again, AC is no longer cool after starting engine for 15-20min, red thermostat light comes on after driving long distance.

Should I send it back to the SC again?

Would appreciate if the sifus here can give me an idea on what could be wrong my car before i send it for service again.

Even better if there are better recommended workshop around Subang Jaya area.

Update: Confirmed with Toyota SC foreman that the engine head/block needs to be overhauled...aluminum engine head damaged from overheating. Any recommended workshop for engine overhauling around Subang Jaya area?

Another update: Sent my car to outside workshop for checking... The foreman said is thermostat problem.

They say they are quite sure no problem with my car engine, and think the thermostat the Toyota SC install for me is used one:

I only changed the thermostat in SC about 1 month ago... they say impossible looks so old & used.

Also noted that the thermostat housing have colour marker on them, they say those only have is the thermostat is original.

Latest update: Got back my car from the SC 3 weeks ago after they changed another thermostat, contacted Toyota HQ also and raised my issue with them. They adviced the SC to check and replaced my gearbox oil cooler, cost me another RM300, but issue was fixed.

Drove the car for another 2 weeks and it was fine, in the end decided to sell it to carsome for RM50k and placed order for a new car.

Hey guys,

Few months ago (around 2-3 months ago) pimples started popping up on my face, only around my cheeks. I'm a guy in my mid twenties, never had this problem previously.

At first i thought this is due to my face wash, so i stopped using it and only wash my face using normal body soap (been a month since) but my condition barely improved. I also change my pillowcase as weekly, and i dont think my diet is the problem as i tend to avoid eating sweet/oily food. Im also physically active & not very stressed out.

Haven't tried any medication as i cannot figure out what is wrong, never had this problem before.

I'm thinking of visiting a dermatologist before there is any major scarring to my face, and since this will be my first time, i really need some recommendation for a good derma near my area - i'm staying in Subang Jaya (wouldn't wanna pay a few hundred bucks for a treatment that doesn't solve my problem).

Would help a lot too if you can roughly provide a price range for acne treatment for those derma clinics you have visited!

Is it worth buying a PS4 now? Planning to get one for Persona 5, but the release date isn't confirmed yet.

The list of games available now is also very little and not many interesting ones.
