Hey Sifus here

I'm planning to purchase the Mercedes A250 in 2016, planning to buy second hand or recon for this car as I feel buying a new car is not really worth it.

Would just like to check a few things with you, how much is the service for this car? and is it 15,000 km per service?

Anyone who owns this car don't mind sharing your experience with me.

Thanks a bunch!

[attachmentid=5544754]

Hi all,

I'm not quite sure whether is this the correct place to post this question.

As me and my gf recently just got engaged and is currently planning our wedding, for our wedding band we have chosen the Cartier Trinity Ring.

However, I was just wondering does Cartier KLCC offers installment plans? As most of our money has gone to the preparation of the wedding, haha.
Buying my first property advise!

Hi guys and all the sifus in this forum, I have been really active in the forum and this is my 2nd time posting to ask something from all the ppl here.

I'm a fresh graduate with a Diploma level working in events industry with a salary of RM3,000 per month, not counting commissions and all. And my GF as an audit in one of the big 4 firms in Malaysia. Together our salary has about RM5000 to RM6000 per month. Also, we have no commitments such as cars or loan or anything.

I'm thinking of starting to invest in property, but how? Firstly, I have no pre-information about developers when are they launching, Secondly, my parents are not supporting me with any money as I am already working.

However, since I was about 17, my dad has started to give me EPF and salary for him to avoid tax as he has his own business. But now, my dad is already 50 plus and he is shutting down his company and I have to be completely independent on myself and my GF.

My EPF account 2 has about 15k in which I am able to take out to purchase a property. However, me and my GF thought that it would be best that we buy our own place to stay, we are aiming for a condo. And recently, I heart about Berjaya Properties whereby they are going to launch a Mixed Development in Bukit Jalil and we are really interested in buying it as it is near my parents' house.

So my question is, when I used all up the money in my EPF account 2 to purchase this property, I don't have any more extra capital to buy another property to invest.

Also, regarding the Mixed Development in Bukit Jalil by Berjaya Properties, we have completely no info about it, we called and they said it will launch in the end of the year, but I know they will surely launch to those Berjaya owners first and other VIP. How can I purchase a property that is just launched when the price is not that high?

Any advice from thr sifus here? Thanks so much!

Working in Events Industry.

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting in Lowyat forum even though I have been reading all the topics from the forum for awhile now. I've look through all the topic is this forum and found that no one mention about event industry.

I just need some advise regarding me being in this industry, I graduated with a Diploma in Events Management and will start working in an event company in 2nd September. The starting pay they are giving me is RM3000, then after 3 months when I'm confirm they will raise my salary again.

Also on the plus side, every time when I'm handling the event, I will have commission of my 30% salary. For example, if my salary is RM3,000, then 30% commission would be RM 900. Also, I am able to claim for petrol, toll, etc etc.

Just want to ask all the senior people in this industry, will I be able to earn a good salary in like 2-4 years time? Because I'm planning to get married in 2015 and to have a small condo with my wife and slowly start a family. Is event industry able to be a long term carrer?

Also, my position is on the servicing side, whereby my roles is to come out with proposal, go for pitching and basically organize the whole event.

Advise PLS! Thanks. BTW I'm online 22 years old and currently taking a degree course fully online while working.
