First of all I'd like to mention it's my first time in Malaysia and after 4 days I didn't expect something like this to happen.
In summary here is exactly what happened. I'm writing it down whilst it's still fresh in my mind so that I can make a report to the police tomorrow should I choose to. Me and my aunt came here on the 6th of August to join my other aunt who was already over here. We thought it would be nice to spend some of Ramadan in a different Muslim country.

Tonight we went to the pavilion shopping Centre/Plaza after Iftar as we had for the past few nights.
After leaving at 23:45/23:50 we got into a taxi. Here is where it goes downhill. Once we were inside the car the taxi said it would be 30MYR.
I asked him to turn on the counter as there was a clear sign outside the shopping centre stating it was illegal to not turn it on (as in most countries)
He started calling me a cheap Iranian (I'm from Algeria so no idea what that was about) and told us to all get out of the car.
I thought that would be the end of it as me and my aunts got out. How wrong I was, he also got out and walked around the front of the car to my side and started raising his voice and hands. Most people say this but I really am calm person.
After he kept following me and getting in my personal space I shouted at him to stay away and leave us alone.

A crowd had started to form at this point and his fellow taxi drivers started to group together, I was oblivious of this. He then decided to push me and go for a punch that missed luckily. I'm not a violent person and didn't want to fight yet alone fight during the month of Ramadan.
As I backed away I was sucker punched in the back of the lower skull/neck by an uninvolved taxi diver. I then fought back and pushed my way out. My aunts attempted in vain to calm everyone down myself included. One got punched in the side of the head by the first taxi driver for her efforts.
The next few seconds are just fragments as I was rushed by a group of taxi drivers I honestly don't know how many but most likely more than 2/3 I was on the floor at this point and started to feel the kicks. I grabbed on to someone's leg and pulled myself up and instinctively punched, kicked everyone indiscriminately as they had done to me. I recall falling to the ground again and thankfully managed to get back up the fighting went on for what felt like minutes but most likely only 30-40 seconds.

At this point the police/army/security came in and broke it up. I must add that I stopped immediately and didn't resist.
I was sworn at by random taxi drivers and told to "shut the f*** up" by a police (polis) office as I was shoved in to what seemed to be a parked van/box with seats and a table. My passport and that of my aunts were taken and the different people started shouting at us (had different uniforms)
I was now being told that I had told the taxi driver "f*** you" (which I didnt) and was the reason for what can only be described as assault.
Different uniformed officers asked me why I said that to him over and over again, to which I responded that is was untrue.
I tried to explain what had happened but was told to again "shut the f*** up" this continued for a couple of minutes all the whilst a group outside of taxi drivers and maybe locals insulted us shouted that I looked like I was on drugs, was drinking (I was not, nor had I been drinking alcohol)

The police started asking typical question, where are you from, where where you tonight, when did you get here. All irrelevant to our assault, more like an interrogation. I was polite with the police answered all their questins and told my aunts to stop talking as they were rather emotional at this stage.
The police now started to become more friendly and asked for my side of the story. He then said "you telling me the truth? We are checking the CCTV" I asked him to do so as it would clearly show that we were the victims here.

The police then changed shifts maybe midnight and new officers asked us a few questions again this time allowing my aunts to sit as they had been told to stay standing up to this point and one had even been foreced to stay outside with the crowd initially until I begged for them to let her in.
I was then told a squad car would arrive to collect us in 10 minutes. The next few minutes went on in pretty much silent.
Upon entering the squad car the officers asked us what had happened and seemed to sympathise with us and offered apologies for what had happened to us.
We were told we could go to the police station and file a report with their superiors. At this point we honestly just wanted to get back to our hotel, lock the door and stay in our rooms.

I was told that I can now make a report by going to any station or calling the police from the hotel.
I am not sure what to do as I don't want my holiday to be spent making statement after statement just to see justice served.
I guess I just wanted to vent and maybe get some of your opinions as too what the best course of action should be. Leave it and now be scared to go back to the shopping centre as all the drivers seem to want our blood or go to the police and make a statement.
I have never interacted with police before so don't know how long it all takes.
Any words of advice would be great.

Finally I'd like to reassure you that this experience hasn't changed my opinion of Malaysia too much as he obviously doesnt represent the whole population, who have been amazing polite and helpful during these first few days of the trip.

tldr:
1. Taxi doesn't want to use meter. Charges RM30.
2. Tourist decides to not take the taxi.
3. Leaves the taxi. Got beat up a group of taxi drivers.
4. Fight broke off by securities.
5. Escorted away by the police.
5. Still deciding whether or not to make a police report.

Skin peeling off between toes

Hey guys, just wanna ask you guys a quick question before going to the doctors.

The skin between my pinky toes and the 4th toes started to peel off last week and it started to itch. But since yesterday, a clear bump started to form and it became irritating and painful when I try to walk.

I looked up the symptoms on the internet and it came down to either the athletes foot or the eczema. But I'm still not quite sure.

Any idea what it might be?

Hello guys. I'm quite new to C language so this might be easy for you guys.

I am trying to make a program that repeat the input when I type anything other than Bye.

for example.

Input> Hello

Input>LOL
LOL
Input>Bye
Press any key to continue.

But I couldn't get the while(statement) to recognise the string "Bye" hence the program wouldn't end.

Media Player Classic framerate limit?

Hey guys, I just realised this when I tried to play a TS video file.

Picture for comparison:

When I played the video with WMP 12, fraps shows 60fps, but on mpc, fraps only shows 30fps.
And in reality, the video looks much smoother on wmp as the framerate is higher.

What could be the problem?

How to view video information?

last night, i come home from school, I found someone park his car in my parking space. so, I informed the guard and parked my car at the visitor's carpark.

today, i come back from school and that car is still there.. WTF

I was told by the guard that he had always parked randomly on empty parking bays which were belong to someone else. The guard has spoke to the person but he just won't move his farking car. WTF
I have never met someone this THICK A FACE.

my mum say he is an ahlong in my area, i don't dare to settle with him face to face
