Pos Malaysia Unregistered Parcel

Hello all.

I've made some purchases from BookDepository, total of 10 books dispatched from UK since end of March 2016.

It was already mentioned it would be sent as normal unregistered mail, hence no tracking number la.

2 books were sent individually on the same day, but two days earlier than the remaining 8 books (one batch for the 8 then, think it would be a box)

First book arrived on second week. No news on second book and the remaining 8 books.

Been almost a month by now, and I assume that it is somewhere in Malaysian Pos Malaysia transaction. (because how can UK's Royal Mail disappoint?)

My mailing address is at Subang Jaya area, by the way.

I've heard some saying that due to the large parcel, the posmen won't send to your house, nor they will send you a notice, so you need to personally collect from the post office.

Is there a way to check where on earth is the post office where they hold unregistered parcels?

Can they even check if mine is there?

Or I should continue to pray in silence that my books would not be lost in transaction and might arrive in another month's time? XD

And anyone from Subang area lost their BookDepository parcels recently?

BookDepository.com Debit Card Refund

Hello,

This was my first time ordering from BookDepository.com.

I've managed to complete the payment transaction using my Maybank debit card, all was well...

Then suddenly, an email received from them saying my debit card card details isn't correct, and they will do full refund to my debit card.

First - if my debit card details weren't correct, the transaction couldn't be completed at all in the first place.

Second - they said they have already refunded, why I have yet to see the amount credited reflected in my bank account? Would it take days?

First time ordering from them already so frustrating... I just wanted to get cheap and hard to find books...

Paypal charged abit more but I just wanted to order this time once, so no need to rely on PayPal.

Thank you for your advices.

Canvas Print - Photobook vS Bravo Print etc

Hello, I'm interested in getting canvas prints deal from groupon and there are two options available till date:

- Photobook
- Bravo Print

And it seems like bravo print's offer is cheaper but the photobook's like having 1000+ purchases.

So I would like to ask those who are experienced if bravo's deal is worth it and quality is as good as photobook's?

I have basic photoshop skillz so don't worry on the designing software available from photobook.

Thankss

TNB shifting meters

Hello all. Was greeted with a pink notice in my letter box today regarding shifting my TNB meter to a more viewable area.

As said just now, my TNB meter is actually located in a store room with a viewable glass window in front of the house. 10+ years those meter readers never had problems reading our bills until they changed it to the digital meter few years back.

Now my bills are in ESTIMATED or 'Anggaran' values, and once a while meter readers will come in to take the real readings to compensate what was over or under paid before.

Now, my question is, are these 'shifting meters to a more viewable place' job real deal or just another scam. Been hearing even from technicians around that fake TNB people fully clad in TNB uniform tricked the residents to allow entry to their home, and rob them off.

They dropped by just now, in a gray Perodua Rusa van, clad in gray uniforms, only printed with Kontraktor TNB at the back of their suit. Kinda told them off until some day again so that I can verify here.
