No code chatbot builder business

Is there big enough market for business wanting to create simple chatbot on WhatsApp and e-commerce store?

The platform sales pitch would be something like:

The main features are:
- Drag and drop chatbot builder (AI assisted)
- Multimedia support
- Teams inbox
- Chat analytics

Currently in v2 development phase but if I cant foresee big enough market or get enough users, I'll just move with other things. Maybe revisit the project again when time permit.

How to retain existing customer

First of all, is this even the right channel to ask? If so, carry on..

To my knowledge, there's not much way to keep or retain existing customer in online retail and e-commerce business. Once a buyer make a purchase, we fill the order, ship out, then that's all there is to it. It that seems like sustainable or rather strategic approach of doing business?

The most of what I can think of is the buyer will refer to purchase history and repeat their order. But then, we are succumbed to customer's choice that is outside of our control. They can just search the product again, and land on competitor's page.

Maybe I'm too naive and dont get the big picture that I'm not aware of. Just IMO, once existing customer hit the search bar, we already lost them and for them to click on the same product again is considered new customer journey already.

In my previous job, I've had done only collaborative development, so I dont have the chance to build software stack from the ground up. Just recently resigned my position since I don't see significant increment and have cash flow around to sustain.

Relatively I'm quite a fast learner and like to touch on different skill sets that I'm interested in which leaving me feel under appreciated very quickly. Currently am thinking/in the process to start on my own since I can utilize much broader aspect in software development preferably from top to bottom.

By no means trying to be know all person. Just would like to know what are options out there as well as career choice. Don't consider myself a full stack as I personally believe in excellent in one, do well in others. My interest currently is in data engineering & server rack cluster architecture (a sysadmin? No idea what its called).
