Hi all,

I have a web application that when user sign out, it invokes a function to update database value. But how can we detect X button close action on browser so that it triggers a server function to update the database?

Session

Hi, hope all sifu can give me some advice on this.

I'm doing an asp.net web application project and on 1 section of the system, it needs to go through 3 steps(separated to 3 pages) to grab data from the users. The data is finally inserted into database only when step 3 is finished.

My question is.

1. I'm using session to store data collected across the pages, will it affect the performance of application if the data collected from this 3 pages is a lot?

2. Is that any better method to store the data across these pages other than session?

Thanks in advance
