Window Freezes after startup

Hi,

it was during last night (13 Jan 2008) i started experiencing this "Window Freeze" problem.

Symptoms: After startup, programs started to hanged and im not able to close or start any application or programs. Taskbar starting to freeze. Unable to click START button/or if i manage to click the START button, whatever i do next will not respond.

Ive tried booting in Safemode. Things seems ok.

Im running on NOD32 Antivirus, and was able to detect a few infection. It manages to clean the infected files, but the window still freezes. It all happen after i downloaded a patch from torrent.

Unable to get into C Drive

Good day everyone..

Im having these weird problem lately with my laptop. Im unable to get into m C drive just by double clicking it. The Message Box stating Open With... keep appears whenever i double click on my C drive *in my computer*.. can anyone help me out with this prob? it proves to be a lil inconvenient whenever i try to get into the drive..

hi, does anyone know where is SAMSUNG's manufacturer in Klang Valley?
recently my External HDD not working.. and i lost the receipt (so cant claim warranty from the shop), i was wondering can i send it back to the Manufacturer to claim the warranty? i bought it during August 06'... can anyone help me out? thanks alot..

Processor Acting Weirdly

hi, lately i just noticed my Intel Processor E6600 (2.4Ghz)is running at 1.60Ghz..although i din not change any setting when i bought it... so i went to BIOS and reset it back to 2.40Ghz.. but dunno why my comp seems not stable.. i open a few program to let it run, occasionally it will auto restart especially when i launch the core temp program to check the CPU's temperature.. anyone can help me wif my prob as im kinda noob and still learning more bout comp stuff... thx..

ps. i did some googling.. and i found tat the normal temp for this processor shud be arnd 40-50c.. but mine is 50c during 1.60GHz, 55c when i set it to 2.4GHz.. is tat normal? im using the stock heatsink and fan.....

Switching to Maxis 3G sim card

well.. lately i just realised after switching from the normal maxis simcard to the 1 wif 3g services, my phone/ the phone services started to act weirdly...

examples.. i cant type more than 1 pg of sms or else it will not be send.. so i have to save it in outbox, then send again only the msg will be sent out.. and my frenz told me everytime i did tat.. they received 2 msg.. with a broken msg at the earlier then a complete msg later..

so i was wondering 1st.. do maxis charged for both my smses? 2ndly, does anyone have the similar prob wif me after switching to the 3g service..

sometimes i cant even call out...and occasionally, i cant receive any msg at all...and receiving them all at once after 6 hours delay..

Phone or Maxis?

recently im really annoyed by not being able to send out my sms during 1st try... or many many tries sometimes.. unless i transfer it to outbox, then send it thru there then no prob.. and those so call failed to send msg are actually being sent out but in an incomplete form.. my question is...

1. is this my phone's prob or maxis shud be responsible for this?

2. will maxis charge me for broken msges?

3. any known methods to solve this kinda menace??
