Item(s) conditions required: Doesn't need to be super pretty outside, looking for any intel Imac (2006 onwards) will do. RAM needs to be at least 2.5GB above. Any inch of Imac will do though this will affect my offer a bit. Can consider anything slightly over the budget if deal is quite good.

Reason for buying: Looking for a simple desktop for youtube & browsing net as I do much of my work on-the-go. I wish to play old apple games and never owned an apple computer in long term before.

Camry ACV31 - Running costs?

Hey guys, I've believed I've asked before in this forum for a Toyota Camry 2004-2006. Currently I have came back from overseas and I am still eyeing on that car. I have been employed recently with a starting RM3.5k salary.

Assuming I have bought the later by cash, how are the running costs overall? Is it alright with my current salary?

I will plan to drive just 2-3 days to work of 30km each day and the rest by MRT as sometimes I need to go meeting myself. On weekends , I will be driving my almost retired parents around in this car for about 60-90 km for two days. They are alright to cover half my fuel though I try not to accept offer. I don't have house down payment or utilities yet to worry.

Just wanna ask you guys in this forum, is anyone still driving this XV20 (1997 -2002) generation Toyota Camry model today? If so, wanted to ask some opinion abt the car, particularly:

1. Fuel consumption, is it still almost comparable to C-segment/mid size sedan (my mistake, not D segment) cars of today? (maybe a just 0.3 - 0.5 km/L less difference? or totally a huge gap?)
2. Parts, are they now hard to find these days and require online ordering from other countries?
3. Is it still a good buy do you think today for just around RM13-15k? Would the insurance & road tax hurt its buying price?
4. Those electric seats at the front.....are the motors failing/sound like failing at this point? (I would imagine repairing them is also costly)

Thanks, as I am curious still on this car. I've looked up forums everywhere, but I would still like to get more detail about the reviews of this car. I love this generation of Camry as its engine is bulletproof, but is 20+ years of age going to be a huge problem overall?

Hey guys, I was thinking to get that said car in the topic for a budget of 30k for use for me to work and taking my parents on weekends (wanted a bigger car for comfort instead of touching vios/altis). Currently studying overseas, but will return to work in less than 1 yrs time. So wanted to ask in advance if it is a good choice overall.

More precise I am aiming for the 2.0E version but I imagine when I get back, 2.0G might be in my price range too (depreciation rate). May I know generally if it is reliable and affordable to run for that kind of budget? Thks in advance.
