1. Is it worth it to install noise soundproofing?
2. Will it void warranty?

X50 2020 VS HRV 2021 for long range

Hello all happy CNY, gonna be a long read.

Some story, last year I landed my first job (gas pipeline engineer) and it requires me to drive from Kedah > KL > Johor and sometimes even to Terengganu with some offroad driving. I'm currently using my ol' reliable Axia 1.0L and its totally bare for comfort, luggage space and safety. I'm 6 ft tall and 100kg so driver headroom/legroom and comfort is a major selling point for me.

I tested drive X50 Executive and the overall experience is positive (good for wallet too) except its driver seat is boleh la fit for my body especially the legroom. Its like fitting inside the latest Myvi only but just slightly more headroom. Also its right view mirror being a LHD converted to RHD, is severely limited, at max outward settings, I can only see 40% car and 60% road.

Then I tested drive the HRV 2021, imho not the most modern looking interior but in terms of space and comfort its really excellent. I was able to get in/out hassle free and the right view mirror has good adjustable range. But that HRV is really stretching out my budget and I can only afford its lowest spec 1.8 E version. Plus, the 2022 HRV is due for an announcement and its starting price point is well above my affordability, thus indirectly making this planned 2021 HRV purchase felt like an unworthy one.

I haven't test drive Ativa, X70 and Aruz mainly because the engine on Ativa is a little on the downside and both latter are too big for my use.

Anyways, need other people opinions regarding 2020 X50 Executive and 2021 HRV 1.8E crossover. Plus any other cars worthy within this price range (70k-100k) as well?

TP-Link Router APN for Maxis Home 4G Wifi

Earlier this year, I subscribed to Maxis Home 4G Wifi but didn't managed to buy the RM1 router because its always out of stock. So I use my old Maxis Huawei B315s-22 router and the internet works fine (fast too). And recently, I bought another router TP-Link MR6400(V2) intended to use with that Maxis 4G home wifi. But that TP-Link router gave me very slow speeds and often disconnections.

I already checked my neighbourhood using WiFi Analyzer and for wireless settings I set 2.4GHz with Channel 9 (least congested) with 20MHz bandwidth but this issue is still the same, slow internet. I checked back with Huawei router and the wireless settings are the same. Only that Huawei one got different APN and some of the Huawei APN settings not available for TP-Link one.

Now, I've googled APN maxis but most of them are for android/iphone only, I'm confused what APN to use either maxis4g or max4g or maxis unet ??

My home's laptop is an old 2016 asus x455lj i3-5005u with 6gb ram. Is it worth it to upgrade the 500gb hdd to 250gb ssd or the i3 with 6gb ram will bottleneck it? Thx

mbp pro 2015 battery replacement

so my 3.5 years old macbook pro 2015 13" has starting to give up on me
the battery is slightly bloated around the lower keyboard and upper trackpad area, worried also if the metal enclosure got bented too much coz cant close the lid fully, got around 5mm gap.

just wanna know how much will it cost to repair it at machines/mac city? or is it cheaper to change at 3rd party repair? cant send it now, got some heavy video and poster editing work

Hi guys my Logitech G29 bought (including 3 yr extra protect by HN) July 2017 at Harvey Norman NU Sentral recently got a problem with paddle shifter(double shifting). Since its 2 year Logitech Warranty, what should i do next? I already contacted LogiSupport regarding warranty but no response yet. Do i need to contact somesort Kaira company for RMA? So i wanna change both mine and my gf iphone batteries at machine. But then the service guy said that my gf phone is unable to replace battery without first change the whole display (rm600) because of this little crack/chipping near the bezel.

So i think wanna go for 3rd party replacement. whats the current fee eh? Or my gf really should change display first?

Hi guys i got a fairly old 5 y/o aircond. Last serviced about a year ago and after service, theres no air blowing from aircond, but outdoor fan is spinning. Today i clean up the filters and hoping it maybe can run. But same issue, any ideas? Btw its LG aircond.

iphone 6 screen damage

ssup, my mom's iphone 6 (bought 5 months ago, 1499) got damaged as her parfume leaked in the bag and made way to the iphone. after drying it for almost a week in rice, i decided to sell it for spare parts as the display had been damaged too much. So far i tested the camera,wifi, mobile data, calls, speakers and everything is well.

Except that screen liquid damage by parfume(slightly soapy).

any guesses how much for an iphone 6 screen replacement or should i just sell it for spare parts. if so, how much eh?

desktop sifus i got something to ask about (and money too) i currently having a 21.5" ips dell s2216h monitor that i used for ps4 gaming, Project Cars 2.

Now i wonder, should i just go all out for 27" VA benq ew2775zh or a dell 24" IPS HDR s2418h? Or should i just keep my 21.5" monitor(and save alot of money). Which would be the better choice.

Monitor Problem W/ Macbook [VGA]

Basically, i have 3rd party MiniDP to VGA adapter, and uses a vga cable to connect my mbp 13" 2015 to dell s2216h. But black bars come out from left side and my 15% right portion of my mac screen is not displayed. Its like the display is shifted more towards the right. Plus, when i check the display properties, it showed my 22" display to only 13.9".

I know about EDID but trying to change all those data and crsutil disable thingy, broke my macbook. Now restoring using time machine.

Any help???? 😢😢

Hi guys i got a ps4 slim 500gb 4 months ago and now left only 15gb storage. Looking forward lazada 12.12 sale, should i upgrade internal drive to 1TB which is cheaper or directly 2TB? Or 2TB is too much an overkill? Thx

Hi guys i recently moved to a new house and brought my beloved S2216H monitor with me. However upon reassembling my rig, i saw some stain/scratches on my monitor. Since the monitor was manufactured in Feb 2017 and i bought it(thru lazada) last May, i guess its still under one year limited advance exchange service? Is it cover under warranty? Can i change with a newer monitor?

At first i thought its a scratch then i put some peanut butter and it kinda disappeared abit, so i thought maybe its some sticky residue from the duct tape packaging? Idk what it is. Help guys.

What should i do? And will Dell services help me in this?
