Suggestions for routers please..

I tried googling for a router that enables unlimited port forwarding, or at least routers that allows a lot of ports to be forwarded. My current puny router only enables 20 ports to be forwarded. I need suggestions for the said router. It doesn't need to emphasize on wireless cos I don't use wireless in my house.

Suggestions for colleges in Subang Jaya?

SPM 2008 is done, and now its time for form 5 students for the year 2008 to decide where to further their studies. I'm one of them, and I need help and suggestions!

I stay in Subang Jaya, and I'm planning to do Cambridge A-levels in one of the colleges here. I know of a few like Taylors, SEGI, Sunway University and College and Metropolition. So, fellow forumers, please help me out by giving your suggestions about which college is good, if not great..

I know I'm asking too much, but kindly post your suggestion in the following format for easier reference..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name of college :

Advantages : (lecturers, facilities, public transportation, food, entertainment, management)

Disadvantages :

Miscellaneous stuff : (leng luis , societies and clubs, ongoing issues in college like racism or gangsterisme)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I forward my thanks and appreciation to those who are willing to spend their time giving me their suggestions, as their suggestions will help me in my life A LOT.

Internet cables and modem+router

Finally, back to the lovable Lowyat forums after months of being inactive..

I searched for a thread talking about this but so far I found none.

Anyway, back to the topic. Just today, my friend's internet has a problem (DSL light blinking) and after I did some research, I found out that the connecting cables might be the main problem.

SO, I thought, hey why don't we go buy some cables to make our internet better and smoother? After all, I needed a new router+modem because mine is testing my patience everyday with its numerous problems.

Just as a reminder, the cables I was referring to are the ones you use to connect your modem to a socket/splitter, not the LAN cable.

The cables should transmit data fast enough (everyone hates screamyx ), costs around the market price or maybe 10 ringgit more and is capable of supporting between 1mb/s to 2mb/s.

Besides that, I need recommendations for a router and modem. See, I heard that there is such a thing as router and modem in one, and I would love to have one of those babies. But... I would be content with just a good and nice router

The router/router+modem should be great at transmitting data, doesn't give problems like switching off/failing to transmit data, minimum of three ports, is capable of port forwarding a lot of programs (I play DotA and I host games sometimes) and costs around, say, RM 200-300?

Before I finish, I would like to thank you for your recommendations!
